Title says it all- when you wake up from your wedding night, what are you and your new husband going to do? Married bees- what did you do?
Fiance wants to go to church & Sunday school like normal but i’m like..what! I don’t want to do anything but be married and open presents! haha
You can vote on multiple!

- Wedding: June 2012 - Franklin Plaza
I voted other. We are getting married on a Saturday — 3 hours away from where we live. On Sunday we are going to have a quick breakfast with his parents and mine then do the 3 hour drive back to our apartment. Our flight for our honeymoon leave Monday at 5 AM so we’re hoping to just do some last minute packing and hopefully get some SLEEP. 😀

We are having a destination wedding, so the day after the wedding will probably be very similar to the day before the wedding and just involve hanging out with our family and friends.
If we had been at home, we probably would have been going to church/Sunday School just like you. After that, probably lunch with our families as usual followed by opening presents.

We woke up in the hotel, had breakfast with people who also spent the night at the hotel, went home. Unpacked the car from everything from the reception. We kind of were running around – Father-In-Law had all of the leftover booze, we had to help him return it to the store. It wasn’t really an exciting day lol

We were married on a Friday evening so Saturday morning we hosted a brunch at our resort for those who stayed over. After that we packed up our car (which felt like it took FOREVER) and drove to my aunts house which is on the way home from our venue. My grandmother was staying with her while in town so it was nice to spend some time with family right after the wedding.
ETA: You may want to add a poll option for a hosted breakfast/brunch. They’re pretty popular now a days.

We’re going to the cabin to spend time with family. Probably drink beer, bbq and go for a water ski or a tube. Sounds like a fun time to me.

my mother is hosting an afternoon tea for family and friends the next day.

Leaving for the honeymoon! But luckily the flight will be in the afternoon, so we can sleep in 🙂

we’re having a mini-moon for a long weekend in a cottage. (we get married on the Thursday) but probably not a lot while we’re there! 😉

Leaving for the honeymoon the next morning…luckily we are having an afternoon reception the day before.

we’re getting married on satuday, and leaving for our honeymoon monday.
sunday we’ll wake up, have a morning after brunch, say our goodbyes to people and hang out/open presents for most of the day.
our flight is at 8am on monday, from an airport 2 hours away (couldnt get tickets at the airport 20 mins away… sighhh), so we’re going to try to drive up late-ish on saturday night to check into a hotel room next to the airport. that way, on monday we don’t have to wake up at 3am to leave 🙂

We left for the honeymoon from our wedding site just like the good ole days. So technically our response was “be on the honeymoon.”

We will celebrate our marriage by nursing each other’s hangovers. Curl up on the couch together, snack all day (with a little hair of the dog), watch movies, dose each other with ibuprofen, snooze, and bliss out.

I voted “other” because we slept in in our hotel room, went home and got ready, and then had a day-after photo shoot with our photographer. Our plane for our honeymoon left at 7pm, so we then headed straight to the airport.

We got married on a Sunday, so we drove home on Monday. Actually, we had breakfast and said goodbye to some of the guests who stayed Sunday night, then we drove home. We relaxed, packed for the honeymoon, opened cards, went to the bank, looked at guest photos, and generally enjoyed being married. We left for our honeymoon on Wednesday.
