I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants to get in shape (read: Lose weight!) for my wedding day!   You'd think I'd be more than motivated now that I have a beautiful dress (Alfred Sung 6836 - in case you were wondering!!) but I just can't seem to get it in gear!

I have been trying to do the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred, and I go to the gym 3x a week, and I "Just dance" on my Wii- but I think the stress of wedding planning has gotten to me, and I've been eating and eating and eating!

What are you doing to get in shape and keep the stress eating ay bay??

I'm running a half marathon in April, and have already signed up and paid.  So I don't have a choice! :-)

I bought a few yoga tapes that are still wrapped in plastic :(   but I have plans to start on them as soon as school gets back in session.  Fingers crossed for me.

I'm not trying to lose any weight, but I am trying to just be fit. I'm walking a few miles a day, doing pilates, and trying to work out my flexibility to get back to where I was when I was dancing constantly.

Gym 3-5 times a week, with home workouts on the off days (I use bodyweight, kettlebell, and free weights). Keep in mind I've been married for six months and don't need to lose weight, this is just for my own health!

If stress eating is a problem, I'd suggest getting rid of the junk food and replacing it with healthy foods. If you don't have it, you can't eat it!

@tksjewelry: I'm in the same boat. I have a lovely DVD collection on my list of things todo, haha. But for real, once I'm back in school with the wellness center so close by and the winter weather nixing nearly any other plans, I hope to crank out a solid 2 months at the gym before the big day! Mostly running my C25K program indoors and then on the elliptical on off days, as well as weight machines, and maybe some group classes if they fit into my course schedule.

@mrsaponte: But you must! Haha. Seriously, kick him off any and all grocery duties. He'll learn to love Greek yogurt!

P90x 2! I did the first P90x and I was in the best shape ever! I'm thin and petite but it really gives me muscle and gets me toned. I LOVE it!

I run and use an exercise bike. That just helps me maintain. I need to focus on eating habits to actually lose weight, but I love eating and drinking.

@bella0831: All I do is run, but DH does P90X.  He made me join him the other night for Ken Po (is that what it is called?) and I woke uo more sore than I ever have been in my entire life.  I could hardly walk the next day, and I was sore for about the next 3 days.

@Lindsay12.31.2010: Yes it is intense. I was the same way when I first started it. The legs and back work out killed me the results are worth it. My FI and I do it together so we have a lot of fun competing with each other :)

Running, swimming, yoga, and weights/conditioning classes. I'm in a workout pact with a bunch of my girlfriends--we have a Google doc that we all share, and we update it daily with what our activity was and how long we did it for. Everybody has a weekly goal that we're trying to meet, so if we get behind (say I only work out for two hours as opposed to three), then we have to make it up later to stay on track. It's super motivating to be accountable to my buddies, especially when I see them doing better than I am at keeping up with their goals!

I sound like a broken record, but I joined Weight Watchers on October 15th and have lost 18lbs, with losses every single week!  I would be perfectly fine if I stayed at this weight but I would like to lose 15 more at least.

I ran two 5ks this fall and plan to start training again in January to run a couple more this spring.  I'll also hit up some spinning and yoga classes at the gym because I love them :)

My bf buys all the junk food also! Ugh I hate it because it's so true there's nothing you can do about because they are adults. I guess its just my fault for eating it lol. But I have been working out, yay! I run about a mile and walk 1 mile after wards. I have the  Jillian Michaels yoga video. She is evil! Ok she's not evil but her video is so hard.

I bike to and from work every day and try to get to the gym at least 5 times a week - usually spinning or body pump classes. I just had knee surgery 3 weeks ago - my 2nd one this year - so I have to get slowly back up to doing what I was doing before.  get to know people at your gym or people you can train with.  its harder to just skip out if you know you'll have to account for your absence the next time you go to the gym. :) if I don't go to one of my normal classes, I have the instructor and about 20 people asking where I was.  also, I would recommend getting a HRM monitor if you don't have one already.  its super motivating to see the amount of calories that you've burned on there. :)
