I am seriously thinking about donating it to someone who cannot afford their own or auctioning it off for charity… not quite sure which one I want to do yet.

Probably trash. Our wedding photographer is also a close friend and when I mentioned I was thinking of doing it after the wedding and how fun it would be she got sooo excited and said she’d always wanted to do a photo shoot like this but didn’t have a willing bride. 🙂

I’ve had three photo shoots over the years (modeling for workshops and some personal stuff) and now I’m deciding to sell it!

I’m not exactly sure of what I want to do with mine yet. I’ve always wanted to take material from my wedding dress to create christening outfits for babies someday. I’m starting to think that’s a little odd so I may sell it or donate it.

I’m either donating it, or trashing it… HOWEVER… i will probably trash it.  Will swim at whatever hotel we are staying at in vegas.  this will be on Sunday because i want to do Photos on Sunday all over, the strip…  like at the fountains, the eiffel tower… etc… Then sunday night… pool time:)

MAYBE, unless i change my mind…  i still have alot of time.  Love this question.

I’m going to donate it because I like the idea of helping someone else get their dream dress without spending a fortune!

I’m donating it.  I haven’t sent it out, so if there is someone in SoCal that needs a size 18 DB dress, I’d consider giving it to someone in need rather then the organization that I was planning to.  🙂

I like the idea of helping someone else out, and I loved my dress so much that I can’t bear to have it just sit in a box collecting dust somewhere.

I am going to keep mine. My mom actually bought mine and has a lot of meaning behind it. I dont think I could bare to sell it or get rid of it!

I’m planning to preserve it and mat and frame a sketch of it… like this. The dress is gonna have a ton of meaning for me since my mom is making it. So trashing it or selling it is out of the question. LOL!

I’m glad you asked this question!  I loved my lace over lay dress.  I’m actiually thinking of replacing the wedding lace with either navy or black lace – and altering a bit – to make a stunning formal dress to wear to…ummmmmm….ahhhhhh…..hmmmmmm…

    Not sure about that one.

    LOL.

    Here is the before dress

And here might be what after looks like.

@Stellar Magnitude:  I don’t blame you!!!  have you posted any pictures of your dress yet?  i haven’t noticed:(…

I am pretty sure I will jump in hte pool with mine, but I am also very much into charity, so I probably wont sell it, but will give it away to some bride who needs it for her special day.
