i’m not paying for anything as far as attire and beauty.

for gifts, my maid of honor is getting a philosophy gift set. one bridesmaid is getting an ann taintor flask and my other bridesmaid is getting a coin purse with a restaurant gift card tucked inside (i know that may sound like an impersonal gift, but this girl is a major foodie!). and all the girls are getting personalized tote bags filled with wedding day essentials.

I’m paying for hair and makeup, and maybe nails if they get into town early enough to go the day before. I don’t know what I’m going to get them as gifts but I’m thinking a necklace so they can all wear it at the wedding.

I am paying for dress, hair and makeup and they can wear whatever shoes and jewelry they want. I am thinking of getting them small coach wristlets with a small framed pictured in it or a silver compact, a lipgloss, mini perfume and a small bracelet or pendant they they will like. I am hoping that will be okay because I am getting super money tight as the wedding approaches!

I am getting then gifts in 2 categories. The first bag will say something like “for the day”. It will include a necklace (a locket with a picture of us together in it) to wear for the wedding, the foot petals for their shoes, a clutch in silver so it matches their shoes but will also match for other occasions they have, and a robe for getting ready pictures. The other half of their gift (half of the budget I have for each girl) will say something like “and just because I love you” will be something completely unwedding related and personal to them. I will also pay for hair and makeup day of and *maybe* nails before depending on budget. I also may pay for shoes if I find something I really like and it’s on sale (I know all of their sizes). Oh and of course I will give them each a card with a note from me inside. Oh and maybe a gift card to eat somewhere close since one is coming from overseas and the others from other states.

I think I’m going to get them silk pyjamas that they can wear when getting ready. I also plan on paying for them to get their makeup done in order to ensure a cohesive look. As far as hair and nails go, they are more than welcome to join me when I get mine done but it’s up to them.

I didn’t intend to get them their dresses… but they were $80 on BHLDN! So it was well-priced, and they really appreciated not having to buy them! It’s the Savoy Dress in Plum, and they are so obsessed that I’m nervous they’ll wear them before the wedding!

I also will probably pay if they get hair/makeup done, but I think most will only have makeup done. We’ll see….

I am definitely giving my bridesmaids and bridesmen gifts, but not planning to pay for their attire.  I am thinking of paying for their makeup as well, however if I do then I want to think of something equal to gift my bridesmen :/

eta sorry didn’t realize this was in September 2013!!  I’m only a month off…

I got them all cute cluthes from Etsy.  For those who want hair and/or makeup, I am paying for that.  If girls do not want it or are doing their own, I got them a supplemental gift.

I am getting them necklaces with their initial engraved on it that they can wear the day of. Maybe paying for hair and makeup for 1 bm. The other 2 are my sisters so our parents will pay for theirs.

Gifts, but I’m not paying for their attiar.  I will probably be getting them their jewlery to wear the day of maybe one of those cute necklaces I keep seeing on etsy with their initials or a ring or something 🙂 I’m also making bridesmaids survival kits 🙂

My girls are responsible for their attire, its part of territory of being a BM, they will cover their own make-up and hair. As for gifts, I’m giving my girls each their fave bottle of wine, a diamond candle, and a couple of other things I haven’t fully decided on yet. I’m giving them all a day of “survival kit” as well.

I had one attendant. I bought her dress (which I found on clearance) and also a personalized cooler filled with the craft beer we were serving at the wedding.

We did our own hair and makeup.
