I’ll start this by saying my girls have had no expenses at all for my wedding, I’ve paid for all dresses, alterations, jewelry, shoes, hair makeup.

Because of this, I won’t be going overboard on their gifts, I’m gifting them a bag filled with a lot of smaller gifts [burts bees sets, bath & body works sets, realtechniques makeup brushes], and each will get a $25 gift card.

Paying for their dresses too. Doing custom cluches along with hair/makeup, robes and rayban aviators. Also, since we are a destination wedding, they will all be getting our Out Of Town bags filled with various goodies like travel mugs, emergency kits etc.

Where I live, people usually just buy the BM their jewlery for the wedding. I got my BM their earrings, bracelet, and shoes for the day of. (All of these truly can be reworn- I have seen each girl wearing pieces since my wedding 2 months ago. I picked something I liked, that I knew they would like too.) I also got each girl a lunch tote with their initials. The last item I got for each girl was a unique item. One got a magazine subscription, one got a scarf, one got a personalized hanger for her wedding later this year, and the last girl got a book.

I also gave my MOH a duffle bag with her first initial for a thank you for all of the extra things she did for me.

Edit: One thing I noticed when asking on these boards is that some people spend a crazy amount on their bridesmaids. I can say I have never been a bridesmaids because of the gift I will be getting, rather because I love the people I am supporting.

I only have a MOH (sister) an BM (FSIL). I got my MOH nesting pouches from Better Life Bags, and my FSIL got a Coach wristlet. My sister has a TON of wristlets/purses from Coach, so I thought I would do something different. FSIL doesn’t have one, so it’s perfect.

In them, will be earrings and a necklace they will wear for the wedding. Both were bought from Esy shops. I also will fill them with miscellaneous items too – which are still TBD but could probably be found in the trabel section at Target or small beauty items from Sephora/Ulta.

When I asked them, I gave them a mini bottle of champagne, Essie nail polish and a Philsophy lip gloss.

Got my girls custom tote bags, a keepsake bridesmaid figurine (it was on super sale lol) and a really nice throw. I’m also doing custom mugs myself.

Allyg:  I already gave my bridal party their gifts even though I am not getting married until 10 days from now!

My MOH I gave a leather messenger bag, three hand creams from Crabtree and Evelyn, and a travel shaving kit from Crabtree and Evelyn (yeah, my MOH is a guy if you could not tell).

One BM I gave a pink leather handbag, pink and white charm bracelet, silver sparkly wrap in case it is chilly for the wedding, a book lover’s journal (from Moleskin), a hand cream from Crabtree and Evelyn and gold sequin foldable flats that come in a bag.

My other BM received a Coach handbag, purple and silver charm bracelet, silver sparkly wrap, hand cream and bath salts from Crabtree and Evelyn, and silver sequin foldable flats that come in a bag.

Other nice items are customizable handkerchiefs and pocket mirrors that have their initials engraved or etched in them. I got those fairly quickly from Etsy for my gifts for our mothers and sisters.

Here I was thinking I spent a lot of money but now it sounds like it’s not enough 🙁

I just bought my MOH and my BM pandora bracelets with a charm for our wedding day and they’re each getting purple kimonos from VS.

I am thinking of having photos of the four of us from the wedding blown up on to canvas and sending them each one of those (obviously it would be about 2 months after the wedding). We won’t be doing gifts otherwise, we have paid for everything and it’s not expected here.

I already wrapped up my girls gifts too… can’t wait to give them their stuff!! I got each girl the same thing just different colors based on their preferences. I got them each a bottle of wine with these adorable labels, a monogrammed stem less wine glass, a Coach cosmetic bag filled with EOS lip balms, OPI nail polish, lotions and cooling face wipes. I also put in a pair of “bridesmaid” sunglasses for everyone. Here is a pic of the wine bottles, I did screw one label up with some creasing which I am kind of bummed about but what can ya do.

laceydoilies:  10 DAYS date-twin!!! 🙂 We are soooo close!

I have 2 bridesmaids who both love makeup, jewelry, and fashion. I know you aren’t supposed to get them gifts that are for the wedding, but I plan on getting stuff for the wedding that they can use after and it’s something I would get them amyway because it’s what they like.

For example, I want to get those cute kimono robes for when we are getting ready. My MOH already told me that she has always wanted one, so she will love the gift and it will make for great pictures!

So, I want to get them both kiminos, jewelry, and clutches with some makeup (eye shadow, lipstick) and nail polish for the wedding. Might pay for their hair. My MOH is obsessed with different body butters and perfumes, so maybe I’ll get her that. My other bridesmaids I’ll probably get a cute infinity scarf or something from Fossil, maybe a watch.
