So my fiance and I have thought long and hard about gifts for our wedding party AND parents, and we can’t come up with anything for our parents and the groomsmen.
For the bridesmaids, I’ve already purchased a canvas tote for each one. I’ve also bought 6 different journals (one for each) which I plan to write a heartfelt thank you to each one, instead of a card. Then I purchased these cute custom date patches from an etsy seller which i plan to sew onto the front pockets of sweatjeackets that I bought them. I know jewelry is customary, but I have 6 bridesmaids that range from 15 years old and very into the emu thing, to 34 year old homemaker and mother of 2. Needless to say they have very different tastes, and I couldn’t find one style necklace or earrings that all of them would like and wear again, and I wasn’t about to spend $100’s on jewelry that some of them wouldn’t touch again. Is that wrong/ultra cheap of me?
Our 3 Flowergirls are getting these adorable canvas totes with flowers and their name sewn onto them with coordinating fabrics (each girls bag is a different color scheme). Inside I am filling it with tons of fun things for them to do during the reception (coloring books, crayons, mazes, a camera and an I-spy list, stickers, etc.) as well as a pearl bracelet for each.
But the groomsmen and our parents, we are lost on. We were thinking of custom cuff links for the guys? So lost… any ideas?
