Engraved pocket watch or ink pen set?

Last year was DH’s first Father’s Day as well, and I took a photo of DD with a little sign that said “Happy Father’s Day!” and I used a shadow box collage and put that photo, her foot prints, and a few other photos in it for him.

This year I am thinking of getting a canvas square and using tape to write DAD on it and let DD finger paint on it (got the idea from my April Babies group!  Shout out!!) and then I’m taking him out on a hot date night next week.

A card that the baby made, well I made with a fathers day poem and baby’s handprint and I’m going to put a piece of chocolate inside. We have four kids so nothing big. We didn’t do anything for Mother’s Day this year so…… Lol.

Fall_In_Love22:  I got an engraved ring for Mother’s Day too!

Anyway, this is DH’s first Father’s Day as well. I got him 6 months of the Jerky of the Month club from Gary West. He loves jerky, and I wanted to get him something I’ve never gotten him before. He’s going to love it. They have a ton “of the month” clubs you could search through. Maybe you’ll find something your DH is interested in.

OMG, the jerky of the month club is brilliant.  I think I might get that for MY dad.  He loves jerky.

I got DH a really typical, cheesy gift for Father’s Day. I got him a coffee mug that has our daughter’s picture on it 🙂

Wow I must be the lame one, all he is getting is a card.  And well he gets to more than likely maybe go golfing with his dad. Since his parents will be in the state over the weekend.

Mrs.Sawyertobe:  It should be awesome. This month he got teryaki, but every month they send something different and sometimes exotic like buffalo, venison, elk, etc. I think I struck gold with this gift. I wouldn’t doubt if he wants to continue it lol.

bridalprincess:  Well, now hubby has 4 cards, the kids made him for Father’s day (plus a gift my daughter brought home from school).  Then today I got him a knee support for when he goes running or does mai tai.  And some chocolate covered peanuts.

He got a coffee/tea mug from his job filled with sweets that said “#1 dad, love you alot”… he thought that was odd. LOL

I got DH a card and a bottle of whisky he’s been eyeing for well over a year (and would probably never get himself). I’m thinking of also getting him a package for car detailing, but won’t give it to him until the end of August. He works away from home during the summer and the car gets filthy (dust, tree sap, etc.) so I thought it would be handy… he won’t use it until then, anyway.
