@DandSwedding:  In my case we’re engaged and planning a wedding, so we’re skipping Valentine’s Day gifts this year.  I love gift-giving and would rather not, but it makes the most sense right now.  We just booked our honeymoon and are considering that our V-Day gift to each other.  I’m thinking of making him a special home-cooked meal instead.

This sounds really unromantic, I know…but I’m getting DH some band T-shirts.

He has been saying for so long how he wants some more regular everyday shirts, so I’m getting him a Led Zeppelin and Motorhead shirt. He will LOVE it. 🙂

I hope he gets me flowers and chocolate and maternity lingerie! lol

I’m getting him a Seahawks football jersey & he usually gets me flowers and my favorite candy. We always do a nice dinner at home too!

Probably nothing. He will likely be deployed.

Probably a nice candle lit dinner and night of netflix. This is our 8th Valentines day, and we just celebrated our wedding and dating anniversary. A nice dinner and tv show marathon cuddled on the couch with a box of chocolates (that he surely knows I long for) is the PERFECT way to celebrate the day for us! Nothing fancy (though we have went big in the past) but that kind of day (which we do often) is our favorite kind of date night. 🙂

I’m giving him this really cool card that actually locks with a key. Also, a little glass teddybear in a red heart box, because I call him my baby bear. The best gift I ever got him would probably be taking him to Gillette stadium to see the pats play with awesome seats this past Christmas. Lol took a few paychecks to catch my bank account up!

We’ll be doing dinner too, of course.

Well this year our first baby is due on Valentines, Feb 14th, so… A BABY!!! 🙂 Best gift ever!

Last year I did a little trail of why I love him to the bedroom and then surprised him in some lingerie and I got him a Chicago Bears painting for the loft. He got me sneaker heels!

@DandSwedding:  I don’t know yet. :/  We usually grill pizza on Valentine’s Day so I may opt for a nice box of chocolates.

@DandSwedding:  We get each other the same thing every year:

He gets me: my yearly Birchbox subscription, flowers (these change from year to year), and he usually takes me out to dinner (sometimes I treat though)

I get him: A gift cert to his favorite car wash for an amount equivalent to the flowers/birchbox- usually 130-150.  He likes this because it lasts him for quite a while and he likes keeping his car looking nice.

@DandSwedding:  Another base layer shirt and another 6 set of beer glasses.  He got one of each for his birthday last week.  😛  He’ll get 2 more sets of the beer glasses for our anniversary, so he’ll have 4 of each glass.  (It’s a set of 6 glasses, each for a different kind of beer.  But right now he only has 1 of each glass.  He’s a beer guy and so are his friends.  So at least they’ll get used.  When we’re not in a building any longer I love the idea of getting him a membership to the beer of the month club.  Each month a different beer is delivered to the door step for him to try.)

@NewYearsEve:  +1! Hopefully, a baby will be happening on V-Day! So no big plans.

But I’m going to surprise him with Ben+Jerry’s. Affordable, but his favorite thing ever!

I’m hoping he gets me a box of chocolates… But if the last two years indicate what’s coming, I might just want to buy a box for myself. He hates V-Day.
