I got my each of my bridesmaids a monogrammed robe, a JCrew bracelet, and a Korres body wash and lotion.
I only have two girls (my sister and bestest ever friend:) so I am kinda spoiling them. I got each girl a mani/pedi before the wedding, a necklace to wear during the wedding (it came with a bracelet and earings too, but they aren't wearing those during the wedding), an evening bag, a shawl, and super fuzzy stay at home socks for after the wedding.
I got bridesmaid bags that i'm filling with matching flip flops for the reception, a hair flower for the ceremony, jewelry for the ceremony, a bottle of wine and some other fun things for them to be determined!
I am treating them to manis/pedis the day before the wedding, then I am giving them these adorable clutches (from Etsy) that will match their lime green bridesmaids dresses. I'm also giving them a fun lime green glass cuff bracelet - not to wear at the wedding but something fun for later. I also found these cute little compact mirrors that I might stick in their clutches.
These are their clutches - I am in love - http://ny-image1.etsy.com/il_fullxfull.117377205.jpg
@Tulip61110 I love the monogrammed robe idea!
I made individual photobooks (by picaboo) for each of my girls of our lives together. So pics from all the years we have been friends as well as fun events we have gone to together.
As well as I got them their jewelry for the day made to match their personality.
As well as flip flops for the reception which I DIY'd cute little flowers onto!
So far, I've gotten them each matching clutches to carry at the wedding, and similar but different locket necklaces that they can wear for the wedding if they want. I'm going to enclose into the locket a handwritten (tiny) note from me. I've also written them elaborate individual thank you cards and will be making them homemade truffles. I want to pick up a few smaller fun items too, so I'm curious to see what everyone else is giving. This was difficult for me to choose -- I want to give them all so much (but uh, we do have a budget!)!
@Hez211!
I'm getting clutches from the same seller!
I'm asking her to custom make each girl one that's a slight different and suited to their style. How did yours come out?
I am making each of them a full sized blanket with cute fabric that I think they will like. The blankets are super fluffy and comfortable and several of my bridesmaids have mentioned they wanted me to make them one throughout the years- I just haven't ever gotten to it because they are so time consuming.
I am sooo excited to give the blankets to them!
i got them:
a day of outfit for getting ready (top, bottoms and flip flops)
a clutch for the reception
day of kit
sun glasses
necklace
earings
personalized picture frame
paid for their hair/makeup
These are great! I need to get movin' on some gifts for my ladies!!
I got them really nice necklaces from Bloomingdales but it sounds like everyone is giving their BM a lot! The necklaces were pretty expensive, I wonder if I should get them something else small? What is a good amount to spend for BM?
Mine are getting necklaces/earrings for the wedding that I had made via Etsy. (What did I do before Etsy??) And I'm hoping to get them a clutch from one of the Etsy sellers I'm currently stalking . . .
For my 5 girls I'm giving them a picture frame with a photo of me and that bridesmaid from the wedding. and I want to pay for something to lighten there load. so i'm either going to pay for their hair or manis/pedis. not sure yet.
My wedding is in the middle of next summer in Newport, so I'm going to get each girl a Vineyard Vines tote (which I think is fun because I can get them each a different pattern that they will like), and going to fill it with a pair of flip-flops and some other cute/beachy things that are TBD. Suggestions are welcome
I have 5 BMs and I got each one of them a cute apron from Anthropologie and I made a cookbook of my fav 20 recepies and put it in the pocket of each apron.
I'm giving my girls a tote bag with all kinds of stuff: magazines, gum, day of kits, flip flops, body spray, and snacks. Plus I'm paying for their hair and pedicures. I'm hosting a room for us for the night before with drinks and snacks too.
I'm still working on this but I know that I don't want to go the jewelry route.
I think I'm going to gift their wedding shoes, I want to get them reusable water bottles, and then I think personalized mugs for the morning of. I kind of like the big ring trend right now so maybe one for each.
Monogrammed totes, flip flops, jewelry for wedding, their dresses (for 2 of them who are coming from the East coast), bottle of liquor, and their hair the day of.
I'm giving my ladies a white waffle robe with their first initial embroidered on it, a necklace to wear at the wedding and a bracelet with a birthstone charm.
I'm thinking about maybe a piece[s] of jewllery, but all my ladies have exceedingly different tastes, so that could prove difficult.
I got them a mani/pedi the day before, flip flops, personalized Little Miss t-shirts, a personalized hand bag, a Tiffany's initial necklace and some home made carmel popcorn in a cool jar! I'm thinking I may get them a little bottle of champagne as well for the day of :]
