I gave them each Waterford crystal. A vase for my Mother-In-Law and a bowl for my mother. It’s the nicest gift I’ve given them, so it wasn’t something I’d give them all the time. 🙂

We’re buying their photobooks for the wedding, but I am thinking we will also do gift certificates to a nice restaurant since the photobooks will come weeks later.

My mom was given a Pandora bracelet for being a bridesmaid in her friends wedding. I bought her a charm for it that reads, “mother of the bride”.

I’ve also seen custom embroidered napkins which read: “today a bride, tomorrow a wife, forever your daughter”. I think those are super cute and am thinking of getting one made for each of the parents.

We got both moms spoon bracelets. They sound weird but they’re actually pretty cool. The seller (on Etsy) that we went through had spoons ranging from the 1990’s way back to the 1800’s. If I remember correctly, my mom’s was from the late 1800’s and my MIL’s was a bit more modern from the 1950’s. They both really liked them and they’re worn a lot.

My moms:

My MILs:

Vintage Spoon Bracelet Silverware Jewelry Silver - STARLIGHT 1950

We gave both sets of parents albums of wedding pictures where they got to choose their favorites and I put it together on Blurb. The moms were the only ones who seemed really excited! The dads liked them but I gotta say, it made both moms cray when they saw them and they don’t stop showing them off. Even now!
