We’re not sure yet. Mr. S was talking about making us some butternut squash soup tonight, but we’re both feeling sort of bleh and might head out for some matzoh ball soup instead. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Hubby was talking about making some Corn Chowder for dinner.  Yum!  He is off work this week, so he is doing all the cooking ๐Ÿ™‚

I made buffalo chicken chili, and ate mine with sauteed onions (my fiance doesn’t like onions, so I couldn’t just add them into the chili).  I hadn’t made this chili in awhile, and it was delicious!!

We’re heading out to a cocktail party at my sister’s house.  The food she has on the menu–leek and proscuitto empanadas, shrimp cocktail, assorted cheese, hummus and pita chips, tortilla chips and guac, potstickers, mixed nuts and, well, cocktails. ๐Ÿ˜‰  I’m pretty excited and did an extra 30 minutes on the elliptical in advance so I can splurge a little.

I don’t actually know what we’re having for dinner. We’ve been invited to a friend’s house for dinner, present exchange (they were out of town over Christmas), and the Penguins’ game. I guarantee it will be tasty and involve alcohol – the husband of the couple is quite the bartender and *incredibly* fussy when it comes to booze. There’s stuff in his bar that I’ve never even heard of – he special orders or imports it.

@ Gilneas – that sounds AMAZING!  Any chance you’d share the recipe?

OMG this thread is making me hungry.

There are about two bites and one crab rangoon leftover from my lunch, but I don’t think that’s going to cut it. I’ll probably be horrible and eat five mini kit kats after that. Sigh.
