I was just thinking today how I have a lot of great things coming up in the next few months:
This weekend my FI add I are going to Vegas, that’s always so fun! Our third time in the last 2 years.
Next weekend is Canadian Thanksgiving (yay long weekend!) and we have our engagement pictures scheduled, which I’m getting excited about. Gotta decide on hair/makeup/outfit but that is another matter…
End of October I’m going to Texas for 2 weeks for work. I love it there, and the weather should be great and not boiling hot and humid in Houston!
Early December FI and I are going on a week long Caribbean cruise and then relaxing again at home for a few days before Christmas, my absolute favorite time of year. I’m taking almost the entire month of December off work 🙂
And how could I forget, my dress should come December 3rd!!
What are you bees excited for? Anything good coming up?

I start being a REAL PERSON and after almost countless years of school actually begin my career in November. It means I can contribute to paying the rent and everything and not feel like a waster while Mr CL works all the time.
On a more minor and immediate scale, I’m going to the dentist tomorrow. Whilst this may not excite most people, they’re going to be finally removing the last part of my braces (which I’ve had for over 10 years now) and fixing some staining which was caused by some gunk they put in my mouth when I had my wisdom teeth out, so I might actually have a vaguely attractive smile again (yay!).

I’m excited to be visiting Boston and my family this weekend (and going to Harpoon’s Octoberfest)! Other than that I’m most excited about looking for a new place to live and moving!

We’re off on holiday a week on Saturday. We’re going out to visit my dad in Ibiza, staying in a nice hotel and hopefully going to one or more closing parties.
I’ve got an exam the day before we fly out, so I’ll be glad it’s over.

Finally, DH and I are hosting our very first Thanksgiving in our apartment this year for our parents/siblings. I am so nervous, but so excited!
There are deff a lot of great things coming up for us. Thanks for this post OP… It’s good to remind myself of all the wonderful things going on in our lives… Especially after the shitty week I’ve been having! 😛

@clumsylawyer: Ohhh the feeling of being done school is amazing! And I hate the dentist so that doesn’t sound super appealing, but the fact that the braces are gone and you probably have to WAY less now is awesome 🙂
@sayanything: House/home shopping is always fun! I love our house but I’m always dreaming of things to add to the next one (I wanna build new).
@SpecialSundae: Ibiza sounds so exotic and amazing, have fun!
@Mrs. Coyote: We hosted our first Christmas for both families in our house last year. It’s funbut a lot of work…
@CorgiTales: Can I come over on Fridays? 🙂 I love scary movies, and movie nights in general! I grew up with Friday movie nights.
@Pearberry: Life IS good right now! And it’s always awesome to have good in-laws.

I am finally going to be applying to nursing school in December after 3 years of taking classes part time.
I am applying to new jobs and getting lots of interviews and hopefully finding a new better paying job soon so SO and I can take some much needed vacations and have money to pay for out wedding.
SO and I are looking around at apartments and rentals and all hoping to move in to our own place together soon.
First holidays with SO’s new niece! and First holidays with my mom moved back home in 6 years. I love fall so I have a bunch of fun things planned to do this fall with SO and our friends.
Also my brother got to come home on leave from the military for the next two weeks just in time to be around to celebrate when SO get engaged sometime in the next week!
This is a great post I was actually just feeling sad today about how it feels like I have nothing going on lately, but what a great reminder of how much I have to lookforward to!
