Originally we had our wedding planned for 8/8/15 and then we decided to go to Vegas.  I have a very small family and he has a very large family and I don’t even know 1/2 of them we had planned to invite.

We had everything picked out, ceremony site, reception, all the big stuff with just over 2 years before the wedding.

I don’t know if it was the stress of started my bachelors program (at 40) 2 years before our wedding or what, but I was stressed about everything.  And the IL’s weren’t helping… “your spending to much”, “why do it there, what’s the matter with this hall” “blah blah blah”.  So FI finally asked if I was serious when I asked if we could go to Vegas and get married by Elvis.

I WAS!!!!

So, now we are going to Vegas with only 14 people total including him and I!!!  I found a really pretty place, but we opted out of Elvis!  Might have to find me one for pics though!!

So, going to Vegas to get hitched and spending time with the only family that is important to us is what has me most excited!!!!!

This is where we are doing the ceremony!!  Indoors, and a waterfall behind us!!

@Skittles131:  Ok! Besides marrying the fantastic handsome man, I’m most excited for my wedding band! It’s going to be a 2.5mm 3/4 eternity with almost a carat of diamonds, custom made! My fiancé let me design it and everything. It’s going to be awesome, and I get to wear it forever. 😀

Our ceremony, which we wrote together (we’re both writers!) and which will be read by our best friend, who’s officiating! He’ll also be adding his own personal touches (he’s ALSO a writer, lol) which I know will be amazing!!

Going to theme parks with FI’s family and a few friends the weekend before the wedding (which is in Orlando).

Giving everybody the special gifts we picked out for them, and drinking mimosas while getting my nails done with my mom, stepmom, FMIL, FSIL, and BFF.

If the weather is good, releasing wish lanterns over the lake right next to our venue!

That moment when my music cues, right before I walk down the aisle.  Wondering what the look on his face will be (no first look), knowing the next time I walk, I’ll be married to the man of my dreams 🙂

i arranged the song so I’ll have about 20 seconds into it before I step out just so I can pause in that moment.

I have waited a long, long time….

And obviously marrying the love of my life and going on our honeymoon 🙂

Oh, and getting to wear the wedding dress of my dreams!!!

I am most excited for getting married in the church my parents and grandparents got married in, where one of my aunts was christened and where I was christened, in front of our family and friends.

This is the church (the photos are taken from the website, I don’t know the couple in the photo of the inside)

@Skittles131:  Seeing the look on his face when he first sees me walking down the aisle. I’m not very girlie so I don’t do much with dresses/hair/makeup(I do sometimes for special reasons but nothing like this). The other thing is seeing our Phantom of the Opera come together Laughing
