As far as the tree goes, I am going in our backyard and taking a branch from our brush pile.. free:)
Afterwards, I am going to make a scrapbook of sorts with all the paper wishes. It will be a great alternative to our guestbook that we can look through in the future.
I'm not sure about the details yet.
That's a good idea! I was thinking of saving the "Wish Tree" but I actually like the idea of putting them in a scrapbook. Or, maybe to decorate the house, I can go back to my original idea post-wedding by putting them in a nice vase and setting them out somewhere :) Thank you for your help!
I didn't read your post right!!
I like the idea of using the tree itself as a decorating item. It will still look "normal" in a vase, yet it will have sentimental value for the two of you.
That's probably what I'll do as well. Thanks!

I got these CUTE oak tree notepads from Cards & Pockets, thanks for whoever recommended me to the website! :)
So orginally I was wanting to just have people write a note on here & place it in a nice vase, but now I hear a lot of talk about Wish Tree's. I found a place where I can order Manzantilla Branches for $5.00 a piece & I was going to create my own Wish Tree, & then punch holes in these little notepads, place a ribbon in it & have people hang it from the tree.
The only thing I'm wondering, though, is what to do with the tree afterwords? It would seem a bit tacky to have it placed on a side table somewhere with a bunch of paper hung from branches, so I was wondering what other alternatives were?
