My wedding is 52 days away and I’m still unsure on some important song choices. My fiance is love the song Con Te Partiro by Andrea Boccelli. He would love for me to walk down to that. I just don’t know if it is too much. Originally I thought I wanted to walk to Ave Maria but now I am just totally unsure. Any suggestions???

I’m walking to Pachelbel’s Cannon in D.
Makes me tear up just thinking about it…

I love the song Con Te Partiro!!! The original translation of the name that I saw was “Time to Say Goodbye” but I just looked it up and it literally translates to I’ll go with you. I love that! Time to bring that one up again! Haven’t decided if the bridesmaids will walk to that or me. I think Fiance wants me to walk to the traditional Wagner wedding march. I was originally against it but now I’ve been thinking about it…that’ll only be played once for me in my lifetime and at other weddings, when those notes start up, I tear up.

I’m walking down to “All You Need Is Love” but not the Beatles’ version–it’ll be the version from Love Actually that comes on during the wedding recessional in the movie!

Right now the plan is to have a cellist and for them to play the Beethoven song that One Republic sampled at the begining of Secrets.

@Ugoob: I don’t have sound on my computer, but I am super interested to hear a piano version of “Where is My mind” I LOVE that song!
I walked to Johnny Cash’s version of “In my Life” by the Beatles. Its a much slower version- raw and acoustic. It was actually a surprise for my husband, it was very emotional & set the tone for our ceremony.
