My wedding is beach wedding so I am going to walk down the aisle (or beach!) to "Give a Little Bit" by Supertramp. It's special and meaningful to me about my parents so its fitting!
What is your choice?
Marry Me by Train is what I really want to walk to but it seems predictable and my FI doesn't like it.
SO it's a tough choice. I have a lot of songs I want to walk to but none are just right. I want something soft, and Marry Me totally fits that. All the others are a bit too "harsh".
I'm pretty sure I'm going to be walking to the instrumental part of Michael W. Smith's "Take Me Over"...it's so beautiful and soft and romantic sounding!
We are going to have a string quartet play "Love Story"- Taylor Swift :)
"And I love her" by beatles :-)
Then we are walking back up the aisle (receding? is that the word?) to "tell me what you see" by beatles
Since we met online on a video game 11 years ago and still game together, it makes sense that we incorporate what we love and how we fell in love into our ceremony. And so I'm walking down to a song that we've played together countless hours together. I KNEW as soon as I heard it years ago that I would be walking down the aisle to this. It's called "A Song by Tear" from Tales of the Abyss. I'll probably write down the lyrics in the program because it's not in English. It's actually not even in a human language. LOL

It will be a medly of accoustic Foo Fighters songs played by some of our friends and family with "hero" being played as I walked down the aisle.
I guess I'm boring and traditional--Pachelbel's Canon. It's just so beautiful, it makes me cry when I hear it! Plus, my FI has always loved the song :)
@Ms.GoodEarth: I went boring and traditional too. I've loved pachabels canon since I first started playing it in music lessons when Inwas a little girl andpeas one of he only parts of my wedding I ever really dreamed of; coming down the aisle to that. Even before i realized its pretty much the most common thing.
@thennic: amazing. Foo Fighters are incredibly sweet and beautiful when done acoustically (I play "Hero" on the piano)
I Can't Help Falling in Love with You- Elvis Presley
17 days til the big day!
Pachabell meets U2 by Jon Schmidt http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HVRcbc5_WoI
I wanted something traditional but still us, this was the best fit :)
@Ivorybuttons:Thanks! I LOVE accoustic foo fighters!! Well I love them either way, but you're right it can be absolutely beautiful. I bet "Hero" on the piano is just gorgeous! We still have to workout how we're going to do it but I'm completely thrilled about our decision! Hey, we are getting married on the same day :)
one week from today, i will be walking down the aisle to just the way you are by bruno mars. =D
@bijou214: That's so cute and OMG so close!!! Mine is 17 days so not long now either!!!!!
@whitandrior: Have you thought about "I Have and Always Will" by Dave Barnes?? It is one of my favorite songs. It is super soft but the lyrics and music are amazing!!
@Ms.GoodEarth: Agreed. It makes me tear up all the time. I loved it so our harpist will be playing that as I walk down the isle!
I'm walking down the aisle to an instrumental version of "A New Beginning" from the movie Anastasia :D the lyrics are so appropriate and I love the movie! We are receding down the aisle to an instrumental version of "Welcome to the Family" by Avenged Sevenfold! Haha, my FI's request and the first concert we went to together! :D
I am obsessed with "Here Comes the Sun" Instrumental version by the Beatles! I think its so beautiful.
"You Look Wonderful Tonight" by Eric Clapton (on strings). I can't wait!
I love that song! I kind of went in the same direction, I walked down to "passenger seat" by Stephen Speaks
@whitandrior: I am walking to Marry Me! Love it. I think you should totally do it! The guys are coming out to Crash by Dave Matthews, the girls are walking to Love Story by Taylor Swift and we are using I'm a Believer by Smashmouth for the recessional.
I will be coming down the aisle to "Pie in the Sky" by Andrew Hollander. It's the theme to the movie "Waitress". It's definitely not traditional, but I love it. It's very dreamy, and romantic, and makes me feel the way I want to feel on my wedding day.
Throne Room Processional from Star Wars and Green Day Poprocks and Coke for our recessional!
@whitandrior: Have you heard just the piano version of Marry Me? It's beautiful! That is what my bridesmaids are walking down to.
I'm getting married in a church so.. I think I have to keep it somewhat simple.
I just sent this to my mom .. all I know is that I want this song. Jonathon Cain - Bridal March

We have a family friend who is the most amazing pianist who plays at the church. So yaaaa..
We are using BeBe Winans song "I found love".... we are also using it for our first dance song (so I guess you could say we love that song, lol) We figured since walking down the ailse to the song....the guest will probably only hear the first verse of it but we feel the entire song fits us so perfectly that we wanted it to be "our" song as well :)
I'll be walking in to Love Story by T.Swift, the BM's will be walking in to the instrumental of Our God by Chris Tomlin.
I too am getting married on the beach! I will be walking to Javier Colon's version of "Time After Time". I absolutely LOVE this song, but his version is melodic and heart tugging. His live acoustic version on The Voice was even better!
I'm debating between 'Stand By Me' by Ben E King or a string quartet version of 'Wonderwall' by Oasis....still can't decide!
