I am going to walk to Pachabel Cannon in D. My cousin is a professional violinist and is going to play for us. What are walking to?

I'm hoping to walk down the aisle to "It Is You I have Loved" by Dana Glover-it's the Shrek theme. My girls are gonna walk down to Canon in D, & I'm unsure what the parents/grandparents are doing.

"wild horses" by the rolling stones.  My bridesmaid is playing the first minute acoustic on her guitar though, not the recorded version.

Catholic ceremony so the Wedding March is out of the question.  That's alright though, love Cannon in D.  We're planning on having a string quartet so it should sound amazing.

Walking down to Trumpet Voluntary.  I'm getting married in a huge Cathedral, and I love hearing the trumpet in such a large space!  Plus I was a total band geek in high school!  Go brass instruments!!!!

I want to do Canon in D. We are having a Catholic ceremony and the church has an amazing organ and we are required to have an organist. And actually, Canon in D sounds great on the organ and it's one of the "approved" songs. I usually don't dig organ music, but oh well.

"The Book of Love" by Peter Gabriel. I have had a life long love affair with all music Peter Gabriel and I must have him played during my wedding.

"In Your Eyes" will be played while everyone takes their seat.

I still have to run it by the church, but we've found all instrumental versions of the songs we want to use.  FI and his parents will walk down to "One Love", bridesmaids and groomsmen to "God Only Knows" and I'll walk down with my parents to "All You Need is Love".  With the exception of "One Love" all the other songs will be the Vitamin String Quartet versions.  I really hope the church is OK with them, because I can't see myself walking down to the traditional songs...we'll see!

"Bridal March" by Jonathan Cain. It incorporates some of the original Bridal March melody. My cousin learned it on the piano =)

I'm doing Canon in D but we are having a steel drummer so it'll give it a little twist.

I walked down to Johnny Cash's version of "In my Life" and everytime I think about that moment, I know I made the perfect song choice!

Hopefully Coldplay's "Yellow" - instrumental strings version. My family kind of hates that I am not doing something "traditional," but between my mom and grandma they've kinda of taken the untraditional out of everything else (or at least commented on it) so I'm putting my foot down here and picking what I want! grr!

My dad died when I was 4, and I always assumed my mom would walk me down the aisle. Unfortunately, after surviving breast cancer, she succumbed to pancreatic cancer in 2005. When she was alive, she was a huge Queen fan. So, in her honor, I'm walking down the aisle to "Crazy Little Thing Called Love", and while mom won't be there physically, I won't be walking alone. Plus, it's upbeat enough that I think I can do it without bursting into tears.

We had a string trio and I walked down the aisle to "Air on a G String" by Bach.  I didn't want the Wedding March or Canon, but I still wanted something classical.

I think I'm doing a Vitamin Strings song. Still deciding. Canon in D is just so beautiful!

And @almostduffy- that will be beautiful! We might do that song as our first dance.
