As the gift to my bridesmaids, I’m getting them a monogrammed spa robe.  So, naturally, I had to have one too!  So, my hope is that’s what we’ll all wear while getting ready.  I”m even getting one for our flower girl!

I have the sexy little bride one from vicky’s secret 🙂 so outrageous but awesome! FI just bought me a cute white robe lined in light pink– he’s getting it embriodered with “Mrs. ____” on the back 🙂

I am giving my girls chocolate velour sweat suits with their nicknames on the back to get ready in and party in afterwards

It’s good that you are thinking about this now.  I had a beautiful gold satin button down shirt (in the same color as my dress), but one of my girls dumped an entire cup of coffee over it.  I had no backup plan and so ended up wearing one of Mr. DG’s button down shirts.

It looked awful in the getting ready shots!

I try not to get frustrated about that moment… but really, what was coffee doing anywhere in my get ready room!!!!????

i just wore a blue tank and some gaucho pants – i was in a delightful haze from our morning massage, and threw on something out of the suitcase.  I may or may not have looked like a something that wandered in off the streets in our pre getting ready shots.

That’s what I wanna do too!  They’re really expensive though so I may not do it.  I really don’t see myself wearing a bride-to-be hoodie more than maybe twice so I can’t justify spending like $50.  I have been told that you should wear something white.  So when you’re doing your make-up or getting your make-up done you’ll have a more realistic idea of how it will look with your white dress.  I’m definitely wearing something that either has a zipper or is button down, anything that won’t need to come over my head when I’m changing into your dress.  You will almost always ruin your hair if you pull a shirt over your head.  So a hoodie is perfect!

Eh, I want to buy a hoodie and get some cute sweatpants but realistically I don’t think I’ll have getting ready photos being taken (waaay too early in the morning for that to happen) so I don’t know if I’m just being frivolous or not.

I did this for a friend last year!  We went through Spreadshirt.com and had one screen-printed.  It cost about $40 total.  She loved it!

my fingers are crossed that she remembers and returns the favor.  : )

@jslong – i bet you could buy a handful and sell them here! at cost or with a little profit. it sounds like a nice idea! i would have purchased one – I just didn’t have the scratch to spend 60+ on that cute Victoria’s secret one.

I wore a robe with my new monogram on it.  I bought robes and flip flops for all the bridesmaids too.  I think they looked super cute in our getting ready pictures.

Get a hoodie and get one of those rhinestone iron ons! You can get them at Michael’s. I’m going to wear a button down (but not one of Mr. KMs, one of my own so it doesn’t look huge… even though he’s smaller than me) more than likely.

@missomalley – where did you get yours?  I’ve been trying to find colored ones and can’t find them!

I may wear the dress I was wearing when FH and I met (it can slip down, instead of going over my head).

Another option to embroidery would be a rhinestone Bride that you can iron-on. They have them at Jo-Ann Fabrics in the wedding section. (I’m also thinking about a hoodie over the dress, since I freeze all year long).
