So I had the most beautiful flower made for my hair and I am excited to see how it turns out with my hair..although I am not yet sure how I am going to wear my hair. I was wondering what some of you are wearing in your hair and how you are wearing it or wore it. I am thinking of a low type bun with my bangs pulled back in a pouf..still havent found any pics like this though.

I'm wearing this flower. My hair will be in a low side bun with a little bit of a side part and some volume on the top. I won't we wearing a veil.

Love it! thanks for sharing. That hair is what I was thinking, but I am afraid to go with the side part. I am getting married in August and we have pics outside and I am afraid my bangs will end up falling and look all gressy and messy

I am wearing this headband along with my veil
And some bobbypins with rhinestones on the end in the back.
This is how I would like to wear my hair with a veil coming out from under my hair.
@Future Mrs. Martin - I'm totally digging that hairstyle! I wish I hadn't already had my second hair trial so I could have tried that style out too!
I want KK's hair and the headpiece on the side.... I haven't seen too many headpieces on loose hair. Hope it's possible.

@Future Mrs. Martin I am loving that hair style! I think I am going to try that. I have very straight hair so I am worried that I wont look like myself with my hair curled. Do you have curly hair?
@sotobemrsgross: I think that will look great. I would just pull the one side back and put that on the side.
So ladies..I am wondering if I should even wear a veil. If I am going to wear the flower (the on up at the top of the page) and wear mt hair sort of loose or bun like do you think a veil would work? I want to have my bangs poofed back as well instead of parted
Geez! I can see what you mean. I just tried searching for hairstyles" updo. messy bun. poofed bangs" not much comes up. It all looks to be side parts, middle parts and so on. All i could find was this one, but I dont think thats what your after. oh well.
personally, I think leave the veil out. If youre going to wear the flower and have it loose and bangs poofy - that plenty of detail. If you add more to it - it'll be too much. Thats what I think anyway. good luck.

Thanks soontobemrsgrose. I think I agree that the veil might be too much...no big deal as I didnt buy one and my cousin gave me hers to wear if I wanted to wear it.
Thanks for the pic. I have that one in my file..there really is nothing out there with out a side part! I am afraid the side part will end up with bangs falling in the august heat and they will end up in my face an annoying.
What are everyones thoughts on this? I think I might want something more in the back then just a plain small bun, but similiar to this in the style

i had to go with something other than white or sparkly. i'm wearing my hair down in a soft wave.

I just posted pics of my veil and fascinator in my blog last night. I made them myself. Birdcage veils are not easy to make! The flower wasn't too hard though!

It will be hidden during the ceremony with a cathedral veil :) and then visible when i get to the reception.
veil with a cap for the ceremony, and then a hair flower for the reception.
@Baileyh- Love the hair style and the heirloon accessory is going to be perfect! Everyone has such great ideas of what to do with.
@hhausman- thoses are adorable! I ordered my hair flower from etsy as well...along with almost everything for my wedding. Love that site!
I wore my great aunts cameo (I had it attached to a comb. It was orginally a necklace) surronded by baby's breath. I also wore an elbow length drop veil. I crocheted the veil's edging and sewed it on myself.

Wow!I love all of these, I wanted to wear mine down with a fascinator like Tulips or TaraLynns, but now I'm thinking I might do an updo! These are beautiful. I was thinking I was gonna do mine like Kate Beckinsales hair here with a birdcage veil and fascinator. (note: our wedding theme is post war 1940s)...

I'm wearing fresh local (Mexican) flowers in my hair. I have naturally curly hair, and I really like this style, without the babies breath and no veil:
