I'm going comfortable. I don't need a slip thankfully. I bought a nude colored bra and am going to go with nude colored panties as well probably something cotton. I figured I had the whole honeymoon to wear something sexy for FI so I could go with comfort for the first night. I doubt he will mind. ;)
I'm just wearing some cute white panties that say bride on them. My dress has a built in bra... I'm thinking about getting something cute and sexy to change into LATER though!
I wore spanx when I tried my dress on, and liked how it looked. As of right now, I'm not sure because I'm still losing weight. But like I said, I still have to wait til I see how well I fit into my dress.
But as of now, I'll be wearing nothing except a crinoline and panties. (my boobs fill out the dress enough as it is! there is no room for anything else!)
Think I'm gonna go with SPANX! hahah. Uber sexy, right? I'm intrigued by this corset possibility tho... never considered it...
ATM i'm thinking of going comando! LOL because the dress i got... is very light material... i brought a new bra which will be delivered in the next few days and i'm hoping that it fits well under the dress, it's a nude colour too.

@baby pebbles, I was thinking the "something blue bride" undies are a super cute idea! VS makes some... there are several threads on here about that. haha.
@ sept26...I might bring and wear spanx for my first fitting....They are going to put cups in my dress I wont' have to worry about a bra.
Which is what got me first thinking about this b/c she said "Bring everything you will be wearing under your dress.." My fitting is in 3 weeks so I've got to get a move on it!
i need a shapewear... so im planning to buy one that is pretty and functional

i wore a slip and a blue lacy thong and it was soooo hot!! i can't imagine wearing hose or spanx. i had to change into my reception dress wayyyy before i should have.
I planned on wearing spanx, but during my first fitting, I felt like I didn't need it because my dress is structured and has pleats which hides a lot. I will have cups sewn in so that covers the top portion. It really depends on how tight I can get my lower abdomen by my wedding. If I get it where I want, then I can forego the spanx and just wear my bright blue VS panties. My dress is also fairly heavy so I want to go as light as possible.
I don't think wearing something cute is necessary since you are probably going to be taking your dress off yourself at the end of the night and then you can change into something cute for the night of. That is, if you aren't too exhausted at the end of the night!
I'm probably just going to wear Spanx, my slip, and my garter. I may not need Spanx, but it's something i'm considering!
I wore a corset bra (not really that sexy, but oh so functional) and a matching lace tanga panty.
Right when we got back to the room at the end of the night, I just changed really quickly into a my "wedding night apparel". Frankly, i'm glad I didn't try to wear something "sexy" under my dress. By the end of the night it was kind of eeewwwyyyy (after all I'd been wearing it for about 15 hours)!!! I was ready to put something fresh on :)
I am wearing a corset bra and an "I Do" thong. I will probably just change into something sexy at the end of the night. Anyhting I wear all day will probably be sweaty so I'd have to change anyways,
I'm going the functional route - nude boyshorts (comfort!) and my strapless bra. If I have the energy, I'll change into something more alluring that night.
I'll probably wear french knickers with a bit of blue on them and a normal strapless bra. Maybe a bustier. I have to see what works best under my dress.
I wore a great strapless bra (not longline) plus my fluffy blue crinoline...and ruffled blue and white boyshorts! =)
I'll be completely honest, in my 3.5 years as a full time wedding photographer, I've never seen anyone wear something "sexy" under the dress :-) Seriously, not a single bride has! lol
I wore some cute black VS boyshort panties with a bow and peek-a-boo back but I have to say looking back I should have worn "cute" cotton panties as I was SWEATING!!
My dress had cups so I didn't wear a bra. I had a cute lace blue thong that said "I Do" from my cousin that I wore. And then I wore my mom's slip and pantyhose cuz it was really cold that day! I took the pantyhose off for the reception. By the end of the night both me and my husband were so gross we took a bath together. So I wouldn't worry too much about what you will wear. He won't be seeing it for long! ;-)
Oh man! I haven't even thought of that yet, but it's a good question! I'm wearing a trumpet dress. Working my butt off in the gym so that I fit nicely into it, but maybe some spanx just in case? Hmmmmm
I only wore the "I Do" hanky pankys under my dress. Nothing else =o)
weird question.... but i've never worn these body shaping spanx things, not sure if they are called spanx here in OZ... BUT do you wear undies under them? or are they your undies?

What are you wearing under you dress?
I'm torn between something cute and sexy (which will probably be drenched in sweat by the end of the night) and something functional.
I'm actually leaning toward spanks b/c I have a mermain/trumpet style gown...what are you wearing?
