renwoman: I actually do not know either, but it is because my FI asked if he could choose it. I hope it is what I expected. I think it will be.

I told my FI we could pick some lingerie together. He’s very classy and loves my style, so he’ll pick something nice.

renwoman: Go with something simple, a babydoll and matching panties. Or, like he said, nothing! If you really want to wear something whimsical and bridal you could get a small pretend veil. Or wear your actual veil (with as much or as little otherwise). The possibilities are endless. Some new hubbys really like the idea of taking your dress off, but it sounds like your FI isn’t into that. Those dresses can be….a lot.

You’re going to be a lot more tired than you think you will be, so don’t be surprised if you do buy something sexy and fancy that you two prefer to fall face down in the bed and sleep off the day first.

I wore PJ bottoms and one of his t-shirts because sleep is awesome.

renwoman: Something like this I hope:

Or maybe pink. I feel so feminine and beautiful when I wear pink:

DH isn’t a fan of white lingerie, so I just got a cute lacy bra and matching panties in black with some bows. He loved it!

renwoman: That’s exactly what my FI would say! He thinks that the fancy lingerie looks too complicated. He would be happy with a simple silk nightie and robe.

I’m wearing my wedding dress… 😛

I’m going to wear undies (probably white). I don’t need a bra for my dress. I think I’m going to save the sexy underwear for when I’m not going to be exhausted after a huge day. I have a feeling we’re both going to pass out before anything steamy happens…

AllyCRN: I know my FI will do the same. He has the same vision as me.

renwoman: I agree with AllyCRN, simple and classic is always a nice way to go. Something in his favorite color might be nice.

itsmeetam: I know I will have on my wedding dress the first time, but we are having a simple DW in Nashville at around noon with a small cake and punch reception. Then we are going off for some alone time. Then we will get back with at least my parents and our kids and my brother and SIL and their kids (any other of the 15 or so guests are welcome to join us too) to go to dinner and the Opry. Then we will have the wedding night.

renwoman: I wore nothing. lol

We came home from the wedding that night and we so tired that all we did was open our cards and went to bed.

i’ll be in regular pajamas. we’re both going to be too exhausted to do anything. plus, FI has to get up to drive his best man to the airport at like, 3am.

i like the idea of something in his favorite color though.

I had a cute little bride negligee…that has never been worn because we were too drunk and tired to do anything but pass out.
