tkala:  I know that I’m walking down the aisle to Holly Maher- Rest of My Life. I’m not sure what my bridesmaids will walk down to yet. I’d be interested to hear other people’s ideas.

tkala:  We all walked in to Canon in D. Los of people now are doing Thousand Years by Christina Perri.

megz06:  That’s really funny, because Thousand Years (The Piano Guys version, though) was what I originally wanted to walk in to. I only recently changed my mind, because I loved the lyrics of this other song.

bridesmaids walked down the aisle to jesu, joy of a man’s desiring. i walked to canon in d.

my ceremony musician said those were good choices because joy of a man’s desiring flows nicely into canon in d.

lilchicana:  You know, now that I think about it they do, lol. Our parents and grandparents walked into Jesu Joy of Man’s Desiring and then Canon ame next, and it did flow very nicely.

tkala:  my bridesmaids entered to Carolina on my Mind on instrumental acoustic guitar (we live in NC and married in SC), and then I walked in to A Thousand Years, also instrumental acoustic…I’m a huge Twilight nerd. I didn’t realize how popular it was but I guess it makes sense 🙂

My girls walked down to Bach’s Cello Suite No. 1 Prelude and I walked down to Canon in D (: We had a string trio and it sounded beautiful!

We haven’t decided yet. We’ll probably all walk in to the one song.

At the moment we’re tossing up between a cover of Beyonce’s Ave Maria or a cover of Lana del Ray’s Young and Beautiful (the cover is by a guy called Jona Selle – he’s 100% amazing!).

We did Vitamin String Quartet for both. Bridesmaids walked to Fireflies and I walked to Dare You To Move. It was perfect!

A thousand years – Christina Perri – played on piano by my aunt.  No vocals…. the girls will walk down during the slower intro part and I’ll walk down during the chorus part.

She also learned a slow version of Baby I Love Your Way – which we could also use if I don’t end up like the way a thousand years sounds during rehearsal.
