@WCUkisses: We initially wanted Red/Purple/Gold with the gold being the accent color. But it turns out that EVERYone is using purple. We're thinking of changing it. My FI's favorite color is North Carolina Blue, but I also want something that's a little bit more bold rather than pastel.
black, white, yellow
Well.. I'm a bit unsure if mine works for May, so I'm curious to know.
I wanted to use white, red, gold accents and all paper goods in a parchment color. Does it sound like that could work?
Wow so many different color combos for May! I love it! I'm getting the impression that with May, just about any color combo really works. My FI and I sat down this weekend and came to a semi-decision of Tiffany Blue, & Black and White Damask! Kind of like your inspiration picture Airforcewife78 but instead of yellow the tiffany blue. Dragonlover, I have friends who are getting married this May of 2012 and they are using black, red and a yellow so I think that your color thoughts would be very nice! 
I'm super excited to really start planning! Have any of you ladies found your dress yet? I'm very nervous to try them on to be honest!

I haven't completely decided, although we're not having bridesmaids or groomsmen so it's not as big of an issue. I'm thinking it will end up being a mix of blues (tiffany blue, cornflower blue, etc.) with herby greens and some yellow...but who knows? I like the blues and green because I wanted dried flowers and the favors I like are little (fake, obviously) topiary things. I don't love the color yellow but half of our wedding cupcakes will be yellow (the other half will be brown, oy, may be requesting some sort of blue sprinkle or something) and I see other bee's with yellow accents and I just love them! I don't like pinks (I'm SO not girly) and I did red with the first wedding, so I'm staying totally away from them LOL.
@AirForceWife78: WOW. When I see those pictures, I completely change my mind and fall madly in love with yellow.....I'm too indecisive for this!

I'm also really feeling blush right now and I think NAVY and BLUSH would be an amazing color combo for a night time hot summer wedding ;) Completely undecided and confused though.
I want to do Mardi Gras colors even though I know Mardi Gras is in February. I wanted to have a destination wedding in New Orleans, but I'm compromising, so I decided to bring New Orleans to me.
yellow and green most likely. I am a huge fan of yellow and navy, but since we are having everything outdoors I decided to work with, rather than against, the natural color palette.
We're using aqua blue, lilac, and a darker green that's shown here, more like emerald :)
We're doing various shades of blue (cobalt to navy), light green (like the color of light green hydrangeas), ivory, and silver. :)
i'm using lavender and white. my ceremony is going to be more white with white flowers/purple accent and my reception is going to be more midsummer's night dream with purple flowers & lots of greenery
We're having coral and yellow :)
Not having the kraft colour though, and instead are having a few pops of an aquamarine blue..so kinda pastelly candy colours :)
@Tris05: Love these colors! Aquamarine would be gorgeous with the coral and yellow 
Our colors are sapphire blue and silver. (the Bridesmaid dresses will be Davids bridal Horizon).....and the color looks great on everyone!

How many colors are too many? I like a dark and a light pink, a green, a grey (the men will wear grey suits because I like the combo of pink and grey) and maybe a light beige. I'd leave it at the pink, green and grey but i want lace accents (just not bright white lace) so i want there to be a natural/neutral color in there as well.
Haha i posted my colors three months ago, but they have changed now since FI thought we were having a bumble bee wedding with the yellow and black. We're doing navy and pale pink now
Also, How does one put pictures together or side-by-side etc, to form an inspiration board?

@MerryWidow: Our color scheme is very similar, but we're using a deep ink blue instead of the purple!
Our venues have gorgeous stained glass windows and antique tapestries with lots of bright colors, so we're going for a rich ink blue (to play up on the colors in the glass), a terra cotta/orange (FI's favorite color), ivory, and yellow (which is my favorite color). The primary color scheme is blue and ivory, but we'll have some fabulous pops of bright, springy goodness!

We are using red, black, and white for our wedding. We picked out the bridesmaid dresses yesterday, and I'm excited.
I can't make up my mind, I need help.. I orignally wanted fall colors (Reds, yellows, oranges, browns) but we moved our date from Nov. to May., although I would still love to use those colors, I'm not sure it's apporaite for the spring.. So, now I'm thinking... Black, yellow and white..
Any ideas?? Our Wedding is May 4, 2013...
Let me just say, I will not be be adhering to colors simply due to season.
You only get ONE day for your wedding, so HELLO! Use whatever colors will make you happy that day.
SO colors outside the lines on a regular basis, and I simply refuse to compromise the kind of wedding I want due to seasons. But that's just me.
Currently the colors I have in mind are Pool, Cafe, Champagne, Cream, and White.
SO fav color is blue, so if Pool doesnt work out for whatever reason, I imagine another shade of blue will be substituted. It's one of the ways i'm willing to compromise in an effort to let him incorporate his ideas without monopolizing the whole day. Cuz at the end of the day, I still want what I want...hehehehe
here's my lame attempt at creating a mood board. well at least I managed to capture the colours we're using :)
