@PenguinLove:  We’re May 17, Black, Royal Purple, & Silver –  not really traditional spring colours, but it’s what I always wanted so I’m going with it!  (and my BMs love that they get black dresses!)

@PenguinLove:  Ooh that sounds beautiful! Love that color scheme.

@MsGinkgo:  I love that your BM are wearing black! And Royal purple and silver? Beautiful!

We were married back in Sept 2011, and our colors were Cobalt Blue, Apple Green, with touches of Ivory and Light Pink! 🙂 Also not exactly late summer/early fall colors but I didn’t care. 😉

I don’t really have a traditional colour scheme where everything matches…all my flowers will be ivory with peacock feather accents, and the bridesmaids will each be wearing a different jewel tone shade, like this:

I’m getting married in November of this year.

  • Wedding: August 2014

@PenguinLove:  Ours is an August/summer wedding.

We don’t have a colour scheme as such: all the flowers and stationery will be ivory, as our reception venue has lots of bold colours and decor and we felt anything else might be too much.

Bridesmaids are in emerald green simply because it was their choice, and the groomsmen will wear emerald green ties to match.

I got married in October and our colors were black, blush gold and cream. My BM wore black. I was super against going with an autumn color scheme (not that there’s anything wrong with them!).

August wedding. Garden/under tent wedding.

We’re getting inspired from purple and orange, but it’s not a theme or color palette really. Everything isn’t going to be orange and purple. Purple is my favorite color, my reception dress is purple and so is FI’s tie (with blue in it). That’s pretty much it. We’ll be using wildflowers and herbs as centerpieces, so they’ll have orange and purple in them, there will be green and probably a pinch of yellow as well.

To give you an idea (those are my inpiration pics) :

We might also choose black tablecloth instead of neutral colors … we haven’t decided yet. We’re going for the ambiance more than the theme, and we want it to be very cheerful and ”eco-rustic-chic” lol

We’re end of summer and our color is white… sounds boring but I’m envisioning it too look soft, romantic, and clean.

  • Wedding: June 2013

I got married in June of 2013, and our colors were bright pinks, spring green and ivory with a few dabs of coral/orange for added dimension.  I wanted the colors to work together well with the season and I wanted them to pop.
