I'm looking for a new TV series to start. There's no cable up here so I'd love a good TV show.
I've watched 1 1/2 seasons of Nip/Tuck as well as a little over 1 season of Dexter (really liked them both).
Started Damages last night and like it, just think it might be a bit too dark for me when I'm in this big house all by myself.
So, any good suggestions for me?
Angel, Merlin, Drop Dead Dive, The Riches ( I LOOOOOOVE The Riches!!!)
FI and I loved Nip/Tuck and Dexter too. Some of our other favorites are:

I agree with Drop dead diva I LOVE that show and Army Wifes I got addicted to it and didnt watch anything else for weeks!
@MrsGolden2Bee: Didn't know Drop Dead Diva was on Netflix, The Riches looks really good too.
@Mrs. Fireworks: Loved Weeds (at least into season 4) and I was a total Lost-ie. May try MadMen again. That's a good one too. I think I watched about 1/2 of the first season when it first came out.
Never watched 24... hmmm. So many I'd forgotten about!
I seriously have to start Mad Men, I dont know why I keep procrastinating.
The Office/30 Rock/Arrested Development
I like awkward comedies, as my FI likes to call them. :)
@TinyTina: Already watch all of those. Own the entire series of Arrested Development on DVD.

I'm going to try out Drop Dead Diva. I need something that won't give me nightmares like Damages did last night!
I want to watch the Riches and Army Wives too. Now I have too many shows!
I kick it old school with Roseanne. I don't care if I've seen every episode a billion times, I love it!

I just watched the first five seasons of Bones on Netflix and loved it so much that I scoured the Internet for season six!

I wish there were wedding shows like "Rich Bride, Poor Bride", etc. available. I'd watch them all!!!!!
@Lady Baker: FI and I have been watching Doctor Who, so I'm not going to watch it without him. SUCH a good show.
I do wish there were wedding shows to stream on netflix.

I vote for Dexter, Mad Men & Lost for drama and AD & 30 Rock for comedy.

Dead Like Me is so freaking great! Just don't watch the tv movie they made for it, because it's AWFUL.

Mad Mennnnnn... Fi and I watched it straight over Christmas... took us through to almost Valentine's Day!
Now I want to look up some of these other shows!
If you have the time, watch Eat, Drink, Man, Woman and then Tortilla Soup. Same movie, two different cultures.
@Miss Longcoat: Eat, Drink, Man, Woman is on the recently viewed queue so I think my FMIL must have watched it recently.
I'm interested in watching it too. Maybe tomorrow night.
@KatNYC2011: Make sure you have Chinese food on hand when you watch it. Seriously. You're going to need it.
