I'm looking for a new TV series to start. There's no cable up here so I'd love a good TV show.

I've watched 1 1/2 seasons of Nip/Tuck as well as a little over 1 season of Dexter (really liked them both).

Started Damages last night and like it, just think it might be a bit too dark for me when I'm in this big house all by myself.

So, any good suggestions for me?

@Mrs. Fireworks: Loved Weeds (at least into season 4) and I was a total Lost-ie. May try MadMen again. That's a good one too. I think I watched about 1/2 of the first season when it first came out.

Never watched 24... hmmm. So many I'd forgotten about!

I want to watch the Riches and Army Wives too. Now I have too many shows!

US shows: Bones, Family Guy, South Park, Medium (it's 7 seasons long, which is nice to watch slowly), The X-Files, The Office (both versions), American Dad, Murder She Wrote, Home Movies, American Pickers, Invader Zim, Eureka, Intervention, Hoarders, Ice Road Truckers, Parking Wars, anything National Geographic, anything Nova (Becoming Human is a good series), Roseanne, Hey Arnold, Futurama, Hot In Cleveland, Strangers With Candy, Lie To Me, Angry Beavers, Reno 911, Dead Like Me, Monk, Law & Order: SVU, Psych, King Of The Hill, Rocko's Modern Life, Aaahh!!!! Real Monsters, 3rd Rock From The Sun, Drop Dead Diva, Dexter, Arrested Development,

British/international shows: The IT Crowd, Doctor Who (I got FI addicted to this series.), Trailer Park Boys (Make sure to watch this in order with the movies too.), Pulling, Keeping Up Appearances, Black Adder, Mr. Bean, Red Dwarf, Doc Martin, North & South, Wives & Daughters, Miss Marple, Hercule Poirot,

    I'll stop there.

Mad Mennnnnn... Fi and I watched it straight over Christmas... took us through to almost Valentine's Day!

Now I want to look up some of these other shows!

If you have the time, watch Eat, Drink, Man, Woman and then Tortilla Soup.  Same movie, two different cultures.

@Miss Longcoat: Eat, Drink, Man, Woman is on the recently viewed queue so I think my FMIL must have watched it recently.

I'm interested in watching it too. Maybe tomorrow night.
