We're doing baby's breath and wild flower crowns. When I was a little flower girl, that was what I wore, and I remember feeling so glamorous and special. I wanted my nieces to have the same experience.
My flower girl is wearing a flower wreath too. I know that all my cousins have had them wear tiaras, but while I appreciate the "pretty, pretty princess" vibe, I remember feeling so pretty and important when I was a flower girl and wore a flower wreath. The wreaths are inexpensive, easy to DIY, and, IMO, add to the "flower" emphasis of the flower girl.
Either a floral crown of something dainty or maybe a tiara. My daughter is my flower girl and at 5, she is DETERMINED to wear a pricess crown. We'll see!
I just put up a post in the hive, but you must check out this website for possible flower girl hair options:

This site is my friend's wife, and she does amazing work! Plus, they are reasonable, and can be matched exactly to your colors!
Probably flower wreaths, but I have a couple of tiaras I may use somehow. One is a little girls tiara I bought for one of them for Christmas one year and then lost it until I found it in my stuff when I moved in with my FI. And another is a tiara my mom got me before she died 5 years ago. Back then, I thought I wanted a tiara. Now, I'm older and not so much of a tiara kinda gal. But since it's from my mom, I want to use it some way. So I'm trying to figure out how to do a combo of tiara and flower wreaths. Any suggestions or pics?
I just got her a cute headband with a flower on it from Claire;s but I know lots of stores are selling cute stuff with Easter coming soon.
I love the babys breath wreath with the flower in the back and ribbons (satin curly ones) dangling off the back.
We're doing a headband with a flower on it--tentatively. ;) That's the plan at least.
My flower girl look just like Dora the Explorer so I want her to leave her hair down. We are going to DIY a cute headband for her.
Whenever I was a flowergirl in weddings (and I was in a lot, b/c I have a twin sister and isn't that just so cute, ha!) I wore a flower wreath. I thought it was SO SPECIAL. It seems kind of 80's, but I think we'll have our FG wear one, too. I don't want to DIY something like that though, so I'll have our florist whip something together (I hope!).
We're going to use a flower wreath for our older flower girl. I don't love the idea, but my FI adores the way it looks, so I am compromising on that! Our FG is soooo cute that she will look cute in anything.
The younger one is more of an honorary flower girl (wearing a matching dress) so she'll just wear a bow in her hair.
I bought cute little ponytail holders with soft pink fabric flowers from the J. Crew outlet.

I am trying to decide what I should get for the flower girls to wear in their hair. I am considering the coronets or ribbons, but wanted to see what others are doing.
Thanks!
