Here are mine for the year:

1. Find a way to be happier with the job I have or find a better one

2. Work out more

3. Start hiking this summer

4. Get my health under control

5. Go on vacation

6. Pay off our mortgage and contribute the max to our retirement accounts (dorky I know)

7. Finish grad school

8. Use coupons more (I want to come up with a dollar amount to save in the year but I don’t know what would be realistic)

I don’t really have long term ones though.

1. Get through my student teaching- my last semester of school, woohoo!

2. Pass my last teacher certification exam

3. Find a teaching job

4. Complete P90X- I got through 2 months the last time I did it. I’m determined this time!

5. Read more- I didn’t read as many books in 2010 and I hope to change that this year

6. Spend less time on the computer- Oh what I could get done if I spent less time online!

@MissAsB, if you can pay off your mortgage this year, that’d be AMAZING!!! What a huge accomplishment.

I don’t really have any goals. Work out/eat healthy….like always. Do some work on the house…just like last year, haha. Save for a car….buy one in October/November. Er, that’s kind of it. I want to save a lot this year now that Dh’s new job allows us to.

@ejs4y8: Yeah we are super lucky.  We put down about 45% on our house so our mortgage was small to begin with and we have been putting a ton of money on it (pretty much all of my paycheck plus money that my dad gives to us).

– attempt to pay off one of my two consumer debts, hopefully I can at least pay off a fair amount, if not all.

– do my best not to nag the hubby as much

– paint at least the main floor of the house

– overhaul the office/extra room

– do some kind of exercise at least once a week (not just for myself but also to meet other people…I don’t know anyone around here) – starts next week by trying Hot Yoga

– go back to baking more often – I love it but don’t do it enough because I’ve gotten lazy.

My goals are as follows. Some goals are the same each year, some are new!

1) Live a healthier lifestyle. I get a good amount of exercise one day a week and I do not eat healthy at all. Sweets are the hardest thing for me to give up. I want to get more exercise and follow my Weight Watchers plan.

2) We are getting married in June of next year and engagement pictures probably sometime in September/October. I want to be down at least 40 lbs at that point.

3) I want to build my credit. I have never been able to get a credit card and when I inquired with the bank yesterday, it was because I have no established credit. So, my goal is to establish credit this year by putting the cable bill in my name, paying that on time, and then using a small credit card that I received through my bank to work on this. We will be looking at buying a home in 2.5 years, so having good credit will be really important!

4) Going with number 3, I want to get back to being better with money. In 2010, I spent a lot of money, especially around Christmas. I want to rebuild my savings account.

5) I want to become better organized. Fingers crossed on that one!

6) I am going to continue to work hard on my Master’s degree!

1. Lose about 10 pounds. I”ve lost 80 pounds over the last two years but gained a few pounds back. I’d also like to tone.

2. To really perfect my job.

3. Apply for my Masters.

4. Start doing some serious wedding planning.

5. Continue to save.
