My fiance will be wearing his uniform, which will look like this:
Our groomsmen will be wearing black tuxes with red vests and a red bowtie. It will look something like this, but I don't like the pattern on this vest:
And to answer your question, we're just asking the GM to rent their tuxes. If they want to buy them, I suppose they can do that, but we aren't expecting that. Check out Mens Wearhouse...they have really nice stuff. And if the GM get the tuxes there, the groom gets his for free!
The guys will be wearing grey suits and dark purple ties, I think. The groomsmen might not even wear jackets, but my fiance will.
FI is wearing a snazzy 3-piece black suit we bought him with a pink tie. Groomsmen will wear their own black suits with green ties we will give them as gifts. I don't think it is asking too much that they wear (or purchase if they don't have) their own suit, it is something that they will have many occasions to wear again and doesn't cost that much more than a rental.
Ours will be wearing this gray tux. The groomsman will probably be wearing white or ivory ties, and my FI will have a dark purple tie.
FI is wearing an ivory tux and the groomsmen will be in brown with the smae color vest and tie as the lady they are escorting (either apple or tangerine). We are going to Men's Wearhouse. Just as Navy said: the groom's is free with a certain number of groomsmen's rental.

Miss Paris will the groomsmen be wearing the same black suits? Thats one of our issues...do we have them purchase the same exact suit or do they wear any black suit but with the same shirt and tie?
our guys are going casual- tans slacks, ivory shirts, yellow ties for the groomsman and ivory tie for the groom.
if i were you, i'd let the guys wear any black suit that they already own. it's expensinve to buy a new suit.
@Dmp777 - No, they can wear whatever black suit they like...I am also doing the same for bridesmaids, they are wearing their own LBD. I figure they will look similar enough. And since bridal parties are not really done here in France and I'm importing the concept from my American traditions, it wasn't important to me that they match perfectly.
Our groomsman wore the same tux as my DH, but with a different color vest/tie. They rented so it wasn't a huge financial deal.
The boys in our wedding party will be wearing their own black suits, FH will wear a dark grey or black tie and white shirt, and the GM will wear a white shirt and pale pink tie.

Hey guys, I was hoping to see pics of your guys suits or tuxedos that they will be wearing. My fiance wants to wear a black suit for the wedding but our dilemma is do we have the groomsman wear the same thing? I can't see asking them to spend as much as my fiance on buying a suit. Any suggestions? What are you guys doing?
