raspberrymojito:

Here is my list, wedding is in September:

– pay the remaining balances to the vendors

– Make Seating Chart when RSVP’s come back

– Send out Invitations

-Make a list of Do Not Play, Must Hear Songs for Wedding Plus Pick a Song for the Wedding Party Dance

– Get Marriage License (can’t be done til 3 months prior)

– Go to Dress fittings once Dress comes in

-Buy water/snacks for Welcome bags for Hotel Guests

– Enagagement Photoshoot is planned for June

– Attend Bridal Shower/Bachelorette Party that have been planned in June/July

– Get Placecards and Print names on them

– Meet with Officiant to discuss ceremony

– Purchase silk flowers for myself/bridesmaids (too many floral allergies in both sides of family so candles was my main route)

-Make Labels for candy buffet

– Purchase wedding bands (waiting til May because I want to make sure the cleanings for the warranty are done at the same time for my engagement ring and wedding band so we only have to make 1 trip in May and November)

-Hair/Make Up Trials

-Vases for holding glow necklaces and bracelets

* I’m sure I’m missing a few things too but I’m sure as time gets closer I will have yet another list of to do’s

I’m a July bride, and there really isn’t a whole lot left to do, but I’ve been trying to keep ahead of the game so it doesn’t get too stressful with grad school.

-do all my fittings for my dress

-attend shower and bachelorette parties

-buy and make placecards

-maybe make menu cards

-marriage license

-finalize ceremony

-confirm times with limos, and shuttles from the hotel for guests

-figure out who is driving us back to the hotel after the wedding

-hair trial

-finalize flowers with florist

-get a list of must have shots for photographer

-get a list of songs for DJ

-take dance lessons with my fiance

-get wedding bands sized

-make centerpieces (though my cousin is taking full charge of that)

-finishing buying a few bridal party gifts

-finalize menus or rehearsal dinner and wedding

probably a bunch of other little stuff too, but nothing too major
