We're not big into "pet" names. So we call eachother by the first three digits of our social security numbers. It makes us feel like spies.  Most people think that's werid as hell, but we say nothing's more unique than your social!

Do you have unique pet names for eachother?

We call each other "Roo".  It started as babe, then evolved to baber, then baberoo.. and then got shortened back down to Roo.. and that stuck.

Well I call him boo--which a lot of people think is funny. But besides the usual pet names he calls me Sweet Rose.

I call him Blue and he calls me red. When we first started dating a guy we knew in college who is Australian told us that a bluie is a red headed person in Australian slang. I started calling him blue affectionately because of his beard and now he calls me red. I would be curious to know if the Australian slang word thing is really true or mainstream in Australia! haha

We call each other "Moo" or "Bear". Long story and none of it makes sense if you aren't us! LOL. Suffice to say we now have a small collection of bear and cow figurines!

He calls me Puce.  Which literally translates to flee but in french it is a term of endearment.  I call him coeur which means heart.

I call him my ham since he is the first guy I dated who never took himself too serious when it comes to pictures - he loves being in pictures - it's so refreshing! Or I'll call him my ferrrance (fiance), or greet him by saying "Hullooooo, zeebah-bahfrind" (it's from the comic strip Pearls Before Swine - the gators always say "hullo, zeebah naybah" to the zebras who live next door). We get made fun of a lot b/c we play competitive volleyball together, and we sound like Kevin and Brittany from Daria (Nice serve babe! Great Dig, babe! I'm setting to Babe!). Can't help it - another guy on our team has the same name, so if I say I'm setting to Adam, they get confused - so I call him adam, and I call my adam "babe". :-)

We call each other "butthole." I'm not even kidding. It's a total term of endearment.

"Come sit next to me and snuggle, butthole."

he calls me tatas, hence the username. IDK why, since I am not blessed in that department. Also, boobies. And lately, fee-ancy for fiance.

I guess I dont really have anything unique or special for him. Usually just shorten his name or call him babe.

I call him "sugarpants", "cuddlebritches", "honeykins", etc.  Usually I just stick to "honey" and "darling", though. He calls me "pumpkin", "pretty", and "sugar" fairly regularly.

The only name that is OFF limits to us is any version of "babe" or "baby."  I had a roommate in college who only called her boyfriend those names and it ruined it for me. Haha.

He calls me "babe" mostly. He also calls me "love", "frauline" which will change to "frau" once we're married or "bean" which is a family nickname he adopted. My real first name also starts with a "b" and my dad is big into nicknames ("burger" and "beagle" are two other popular ones, they don't represent anything, they just start with "b").

Okay. Here is my cute nickname story.

I call my guy 'Sweaty Bum Bellefleur' (Bellefleur being his last name) when he is ...well ...sweaty. Like when he comes home from golf or a long workday. I normally grab his butt and say it to him when we are saying hello ...

The other day, i was getting home from the gym, he greeted me at the door with a hug and a kiss and said ' Hi! Sweaty bum ...Bellefleur'. It was precious ...

    And ... I'm a dork. It's official.

    This one's sorta embarrassing.

So our dogs name is Benjamin, however one of the other several nicknames he goes by is "beans, beaner" and also on that fiance likes to use: Bean-skeez

It was a joke but now he calls me "babe-skeez" (imagine it with an american-italian style accent and really draw out the 'ee')....but now we call eachother babe-skeez all the time Undecided

We call each other Bee. It came from that crazy Hallmark duo Hoops and YoYo (we are big fans). Anyway, they have this electronic card that celebrates Spring, and H&P are singing about bees, until the bee gets too close, then they start freaking out. We can't get enough! After that, every time we called each other "Bee" we would crack up.

He calls me Sugar, which i absolutely looooooooooooove, he's a New Orleans boy and his accent makes that word sound heavenly.  Usually i call him something equally charming, my current fave is Butthead, but if i'm feeling very naughty (and brave) in front of his friends, i'll call him Sweetpea.

I started this thing where I called my fiance "Snow Bunny" one day. So, now we call each other Mr. and Mrs. Snow Bunny. We have a lot of other names that I make up on a monthly basis. Lucky for me, he loves all the pet names :) I can't remember where either of them are from, yet it makes us laugh when we're upset about something. Definitly brightens our day!

P.S. I LOVE the social security digit thing. We were playing around with that...so funny. Thanks for sharing.

it was always "babe" for both of us and then lately we started calling each other "dovey".  i say "lovey dovey" all the time and that's where it came from.

but mostly we just call each other derrogatory names that i won't even say because some of you might freak out.  we're kind of weird like that.
