We are doing a dessert bar! Guests can fill their baggies with cookies, macaroons, cake pops, etc.

i would rather have a food favor over a wine corker, candle, frame, etc any day!

My wedding theme is Cinderella, so the favors are paper replicas of Cinderella’s carriage…I’m going to fill them with my FI favorite candy…miniature reese cups

My favourite wedding favours that I’ve gotten have always been edible ones, I dislike clutter and tend to throw out any little trinkets I receive (match books, shot glasses etc..). I also got a little succulent plant at a wedding last summer and I still have it, I thought it was cute.

My bridesmaids and I are going berry picking and making jam together. I will be purchasing these tags off Etsy to tie to the jars:

None. Black-tie wedding,  tons of food, 10-piece band, open bar …. spending enough.

We are donating to 2 charities in lieu of favours….I’d rather do that then wasting money on something people will never use or throw away 🙂

Don’t do anything with your name, face, or wedding date on it…unless it’s something super functional that your guests might actually use again. The one branded thing (edit: two branded things) I got ended up in the garbage.

Favors I have loved, however, are photo booth strips (which, obviously, requires having a photo booth at the wedding – so fun!!) and homemade jam from a couple that loved apple & cherry-picking together.

I am on the fence about this one, I feel like wedding favors are a real waste so like an ealier poster, I have decided to take the money that I would have spent on favors and go buy a bunch of cans of food and give to the needy and homeless,  I think they need food much more then just people needing knickknacks wth my wedding date on it.
