Nothing.  We made donations to our favorite charities.

We are giving out personalized packets of wildflower seeds. Since the weddingis being held in a garden (and I sometimes teach botany), it seemed appropriate.

We used bookmarks as escort cards and they doubled as favors.

Mason jar mugs (for the beer, lemonade, etc…), it makes the glass rental a bit cheaper and we will gladly take back home any leftovers for personal use. So there won’t be any waste

My fiance and I are making soap. We will have two different colors and scents alternating among guests.

We’re getting married in Sweden (where I’m from), and most of the guests are Swedish – so we decided that it would be fun to have something really Canadian as a favour (my FI is Canadian and we live here). We were thinking about maple syrup or maple candy but eventually settled for ice-wine from the Niagara region. Thinking that each guest will get a 200 ml bottle, perhaps a little more – so if anyone knows were to buy nice glass bottles, let me know!

Not having any. Favors aren’t usually kept unless they’re edible, so I said screw it.

For our wedding in October, we gave white porcelain pumpkins with candy inside. Attached, were leaves with our names and wedding date written on them.
