Ever since I was on a flight a few years ago, I started popping my ears every few minutes. I am trying SO HARD to break this bad habit but I find myself doing it while I’m watching TV and don’t catch it until I am sore or one time… I tasted blood.
Does anyone have any tips how I can stop doing this?
What about you? What habit are you trying to deal with right now?

Drinking coffee while teeth whitening.
Going for a long run then eating chocolate.

Chewing on the inside of my mouth! Ugggh, it’s so hard! I did successfully break biting my nails 🙂

Picking at the skin on the sides of my nails. I do it subconsciously when I’m stressed or bored.

Biting my nails.
Naping instead of working out.
Eating ice cream instead of working out.
Watching Archer instead of working out.
Being on the Bee instead of…well you get the picture.

My worst habit is smoking. I have tried to quit so many times and I just haven’t been successful at it. I used to be a heavy smoker and I have gone down to a couple a day which is WAY better than a pack. I will be quiting after the Honeymoon so we can start TTC.

Biting / Picking at my nails.
I am 54 … and have been doing this since I’ve been about 3 years old… so a half-century of a horrible habit.
I’d love long-ish nails so as to show off my E-Ring (when we get it) and also for the Wedding (December 2012)
It is a HUGE challenge for me
And I’ve had a few set-backs these last 30 Days
Figuring though that if I could just get it somewhat under control, then I could have acrylics put on
Although knowing me, I’ll pick at them too

Spending excessive amounts of time on Wedding Bee and Pinterest.
Drinking more than one glass of wine in an evening.

Eating crappy food is the biggest one. I’m trying to shape up for the wedding. I’m also trying to lose the negativity when I stress about the wedding or fears of the wedding day.

Smoking. I’ve cut down from a pack a day to like…4. But damnit I can’t get over that last 4. The second I get stressed (which is far too easy, I have severe anxiety) I’m puffing on cigs like crazy.

Picking at my pimples on my face. I don’t like the roughness of them so I pick at them until my face is “smooth”!
