What belt or sash would go with my dress?

What a beautiful dress! Congratulations 🙂

Given the level of detailing of the lace, I would go with something very simple – maybe a satin ribbon in a solid color, or (at most) a very narrow belt of rhinestones. You wouldn’t want to distract from the dress itself.

Kjohns21:  gorgeous dress. I would skip the sash altogether…it would be too much and take away from the gown.

Kjohns21:  A lot of bees are not fans of sashes, so that will probably be your main answer. However, I am a sash freak, and I would go with a simple sattin sash with some embelishments on that tails of the sash.

Kjohns21:  Your dress is beautiful! I agree it would look pretty with a sating ribbon or thin rhinestones belt.

Your dress is STUNNING! The silhouette is fabulous, and the texture on the gown is gorgeous.  I honestly would not add a sash to break up the amazing lines of your dress.

Kjohns21:  I think that is much too much sash for that dress (and I say that as someone who loves sashes.) I think the much simpler monochrome sash suggested by  MrsUPS:  would work better (although I’d probably even make it a lighter color.)

Hello almost date twin (I’m the next day). Exciting times!! I just ordered this online last weekend, something similar might be good for your dress. You should gave something thin or nothing at all 🙂

I’m a sash fan too–I wore a pretty bold one that was borderline too much because I wanted a couture look–and if you want to wear one, I say go for it. A plain satin one like PPs suggested would look very nice. Or, conversely, what about something made of horsehair ribbon so that it’s kinda sheer? Are there any bridal shops near you where you can go try some on with your dress to see what you like?
