I know and love Ann Keppler 🙂  Great book (and new edition should be out shortly)!

Happiest Baby on the Block is a must have.

Also going with the intellectual bent that you seem to have picked in your books, try Wonder Weeks.  It’s a pretty intellectual approach to baby development.

I think no home is complete without the AAP 1st year book also and I often give it as a gift to friends and family who are expecting.

Meditations for Mothers was also really nice for those early days at home alone when my partner went back to work.  I only had time for a page or two at once, so it was the perfect early post-partum read.
