I bought the cheap ones from the dollar store and then also bought the early response from CVS. I was usually too impatient to buy them online and wait for them to come in and I never thought of ordering in advance.

I use the ones from the Dollar Tree…they’ve proven to be accurate all the times I’ve used them (I’ve had one positive).

I use cheapie Internet wandfos when I know I’m just testing to be a crazy person and have first response early result tests that Im saving for “special” tests when I actually believe something may be happening.

I’ve been buying the Dollar Store ones ($1=1 test). From what I hear on these boards, they are just as accurate as the drug store ones. I will buy a few at a time and have them on hand for just in case. Not trying yet but I’m paranoid and it costs $1 for peace of mind that I can enjoy my cocktails!

ETA- the Dollar Store one I bought is that kind where you pee in a cup, use the dropper to drop the sample on the test, not just sticking it in your stream. I can imagine some people prefer one or the other.

@lilsweetie:  I got my positive about a week before my missed period, so I would say they are pretty close to what you can get at the drugstore. I don’t know how early they claim you can test.

I used the dollar store test and got a positive 1 day after my missed period. It was really faint but positive.

I’ve used dollar store ones, clearblue, first response, no-name, and some cheap ones that you dip from amazon.  I got my bfp 14 DPO but technically 9 days past when AF was supposed to arrive.  I’m not sure if there is one that is better or worse but I prefer the ones were you don’t pee in a cup and dip… to much work haha.

@loveroflove:  I was surprised but I prefer the pee in the cup version to peeing on a stick. Slightly more work, but much less pee on my hand!

Sorry, that’s gross 🙂

Not TTC yet but the few times I’ve been late and wanted to confirm so I’d stop stressing, I’ve used the CVS Early Results Pregnancy Test.  It is the CVS version of the First Response Tests.

@foodnerd81  that’s funny because I got more on my hand peeing in the silly cup! Haha Good thing they have both kinds for different ‘pee patterns’ 🙂
