I think another shade of green would be pretty. People can have some strong reactions to brown (love or hate) - and if BM2 doesn't like brown, it would be sad to make her wear it.
And I think that you should be the only one in ivory that day 
A darker green in the same palatte would work great, and the style should compliment the BM and her body.
Thanks for your suggestions! I will talk to my sis and law and the rest of my "wedding committee" and see what they think!

My sister picked out this apple green Vera Wang dress for her MOH dress (which we got for the incredible price of $25!!). I don't know what the fabric is, but it is made out of acetate.
I have one other bridesmaid, my sister-in-law. She and my sis are so different that we never planned on having them wear the same dress, but I would like them to coordinate somehow.
One issue to consider is that my sister-in-law has prominent tattoos on her ches that she wants to have covered. I'm thinking a bataeu neckline might be best.
What color/style do you think would coordinate best with this dress? I'm probably going to have a seamstress make it so pretty much anything is possible.
Right now the three ideas I have are another shade of green (with sashes/accents of the other maid's dress for each), brown with a green sash/accents, or dark ivory with a green sash/accents (my dress is light ivory).
