- Wedding: November 2011
Tell us alittle about your ceremony and reception locations and themes.
Attach flags or pennants to the top and line the drive to the reception.
Link them with strips of fabric
Attach a board to the top and use as a base for a candle or lantern- again to line the driveway.
@julies1949: LOVE THAT!
Or maybe attach bunting to them! You could use them outside or inside if you put them in a “base” like a flower pot or something! They would also make cute photo ops with your photographer!
If your wedding is indoor (or outdoor) maybe you could put bunting or garland or something to the left and right of the main altar / arbor / place you get married in a line like how the bridesmaids & groomsmen would be standing, but behind them to add a pop of color!
I don’t know why, but I’m so excited for those! So many possibilities!
@nmeyer01: thats exactly what I said when I saw them just laying in a dirty tub at a craft sale. I was like..oh my gosh I could do so much with these! the lady looked at me like I was crazy, sold the bundle to me for 3 dollars. lol DIY people are a speacial kind!
The theme of the recetpion is rustic vintage chic with the colors of steel grey and yellow….actually it’s really all muted colors.
The Wedding is at a catholic church, and I really don’t want to incorporate many decorations on that evening simply because the church itself is perfect the way it is.
As far as the reception….thats where I hope to use it! The reception is at an old compression station (looks like a old tin building,barn) Complete with all kinds of rustic vintage treasures! I like the idea of attatching ribbon to them and suspending them from somewhere… or any other ideas yall have!
