Decoration for cocktail tables or gift or guest book tables?
What about a few scattered on the tables to accent your centerpieces?
Yeah I'd put them on the tables as decorations. Put them on the corners of your guestbook table. If there are any signs or papers or anything that could be weighted down, you could use them there. Attach it to the guestbook pen holder. Incorporate them in your centerpieces.
Put a saying for each table number and the guests would have to find the one with their saying instead of using numbers. So say Joe Smith and "life is good" instead of Joe Smith at Table 1
Make a cute mixer for the guests to take part in: Like a scavenger hunt for the sayings and than they would have to go to different tables and talk to people throughout the night to find out the saying and color for their rock and the winners gets some cute prizes..like more desert favors or a they can take a centerpiece home or something ;)
Could put them through with cute facts about the couple or famly for the same scavenger hunt: a conversation piece so to say

I like the idea of including them as accents on the tables either with the centerpieces or by the table numbers.

I already have escort "cards" but I love these rocks. They have little saying from tags I've cut out of clothing "perfect fit" etc. I have big love for embroidery thread and use it througout the wedding. I have no idea what to do with them though.
