We're getting married where the temperature varies. It could be between 30F and 50F for our rehearsal dinner...and being from Louisiana, that's cold to me. :)

What should I wear for our rehearsal dinner? I was thinking a dress, but will that look ridiculous? Granted, I know I won't be outside for too long, and I figured I'd wear a long coat over it, but is that a dumb idea?

Please help! I really want to start shopping soon, so I don't want until the last minute and stress about it.

I would wear a dress! Toss on a cute coat and some tights and your good to go!

Dress with tights and tall boots is a great idea. I imagine your rehersal is indoors though so you won't need to worry too much. A sweater dress could be nice and cozy.

I plan on wearing a dress with a cardigan for my RD, but I doubt it will get as cold as 30 degrees here. Though, you never know with New England!

You can wear whatever you like....the only rule is..feel comfortable and good in whatever you wear.....Keep your outfit classic and tasteful and just match it with your location and type of occasion.....as you said temperatures varies and you know you won’t be outside for too long then you can wear the dress you like....and for sometime you can have coat when feel like....
there is nothing wrong in it.....
