That dress is beautiful. I would think that adding something would be very difficult. The lines of the dress aren't straght across. I would say maybe a broach right in the center at the sweetheart. But not sure where else. I would suggest playing it up with accessories.

I wouldn't add anything to the dress - it's beautiful as is.  I don't think it's plain at all.

If it looks like too much, you could use a thinner ribbon/sash and have no bow just the sash around it (hide the ends) and put a little broche on the front side just to add a little fun to it and it wont look like it is taking over the design.

I love that dress as-is!  Gorgeous.  What about playing up jewelry or headpieces?

Oooh! I love this! This would look great on you! (I remember your pic from one of the other boards.) I have quite some curves and wore a modified trumpet gown for my own wedding (Marisa 726) and couldn't have been happier!

I say leave it. The dress is all about the fabric and how it's made. Who does make it, btw, I'm curious?

I say leave the dress like that... but wear something really unique as a head piece. Yes, lots of girls are doing birdcages...that could be a fun direction, but you could do some kind of couture poof veil with it that could look amazing!

It's gorgeous as it is, but if you really want to add some flair I agree with the brooch idea. My dress looks rather similar and it comes with a pretty brooch at the sweetheart neckline. Understated, but adds visual interest. (pic for comparison ^_^)

I think with a dress like this you can glam it up with accessories. I wouldn't add anything to the dress itself - I think it's gorgeous!

My vote would be for adding a sash like the picture a couple posts above!!! It would give you the WOW factor!

I think the dress is gorgeous as is. just accessorise. but if you MUST put something on it the brooch idea at the sweetheart is a good one.

You could also wear one of those ribbon necklaces. Kind of like this maybe. Not sure what your colors are, but I have seen brides incorporate the color in the ribbon. Just a thought.
