I am on my first month TTC with the Wondfo OPK. I started on CD 12, as the instructions said based on a 28 day cycle. CD 12 and CD 13 were very very faint lines. I’m curious what CD others get a positive OPK and what their average cycle length is.

My cycles were roughly every 26 – 28 days. I have a 15 day luteal phase. I am currently almost 23 weeks pregnant. On the cycle I conceived, I know that I ovulated on CD 10 thanks to charting my BBT. We did the deed on CD9 and CD11.
If I went by the myth that every woman with a 28 day cycle should ovulate around CD 14 (halfway through) I would have NEVER become pregnant. When I was taking OPK’s I always used the digital one that gave a smiley face 🙂 It was always positive a couple of days prior to actually ovulating.

soontobemrs1011: 13-17. And AF comes two weeks later, so my cycle varies from 28-32 days.

I O’d anywhere between CD11 and CD19. I also checked my BBT and that’s how I knew when to BD. My daughter is 6 weeks old 🙂

For the past two or three years, my cycle was 24 days, (I’m currently 18 weeks pregnant, so I don’t have a cycle right now, obviously), and I would regularly ovulate on CD 12, so I would get a positive OPK on CD 11.
Wondfo OPKs are cheap enough, you may want to use them earlier in the cycle so you don’t miss a positive.

I get +OPK’s anywhere from CD9-CD12. I usually O CD11, but have O’ed between CD10 and CD12. I have a 15 day LP and 25-27 day cycles.

I’ve been charting for 4 cycles now and have O’d, in order, on CD22, CD28, CD22, & CD20.

soontobemrs1011: My average cycle length is about 40 days. I have a luteal phase of about 14 days, so I tend to ovulate between CD22-CD28. Yep, I have long cycles. I get my first positive OPK a day or two before ovulating. Have you tried to take more than one OPK a day? Sometimes it’s easy to miss the LH surge.

I’m in the same boat as candy11 – I have long cycles of 39-40 days, and the past few months I’ve gotten positive OPKs on CD27, CD26 and CD20 (I stopped temping/charting, so my CH are dotted for that one and I could have had a true positive later). My LP is generally 13 days.

I O pretty late, usually around day 19-20 and I have 30-32 day cycles.
If you don’t see a positive this month I’d start earlier next time.
I buy the Wondfo OPKs from amazon.

I finally got a pink line. Advice for how often to test and when to BD?

soontobemrs1011: You’re ovulating sometime in the next 48 hours…I’d say go for the next 3 days 🙂 More often than 24 hours leads to weaker sperm / lower count I’ve read…..
