So I’m going to buy the bedding for the crib. I was going to buy white crib sheets since they can be bleached but one of my gf’s told me that I would hate white because the baby would create stains that would never come out.
What have you moms experienced?

I don’t have any plain white sheets, most of mine are neutral colors and patterns. Luckily, so far, we haven’t had any fluids on them except spit up, so no stains. Maybe get some white ones and then some cute colors or patterns in addition?

@nickels: I used colored sheets after awhile the bleach will wear them down but I agree with pp get some of each to see what you like best.

I would go for something with pattern, whether it is white, pastel or vibrant in colour. A pattern helps to distract the eye from any possible stains.

I got white. I also bought a bar of Bunch A Farmers Stain Remover. If the sheets get bad and stains won’t come out, I’ll just replace them. I think they were 2 for $14?
Is bleaching a no-no for baby stuff? Not that I’ve ever done that, just want to know if I have the option.
