I am in need of kitchen inspiration! I really want to paint but I am not sure what color. What color did you choose? We are thinking of a greyish color maybe lending more to the blue side.
The color now is a light grey but it looks really dull and the previous owners touched up the satin paint with flat paint so it doesnt look very good.
This is our kitchen for reference. FYI this is from the listing, when they took down the decor they loft a lot of unpatched holes so that is another reason I want to paint!

I think you could really pick any color, even a bold one, since there isn’t a ton of surface area that would be that color. A stormy gray/blue sounds great, or even a sage green
just don’t do one that is too grey, since there is a ton of grey in your kitchen already.

i really love mint in a kitchen, or a light blue.

We used a light taupe color. I think it’s called creamy mushroom by Behr.

Just painted my kitchen grey, dark grey. I hate it ( I let my Fiance choose the color) Never Again!!!

@SaraP2012: RED! As in, brown based red…like a cinnamon, paprika, burnt pumpkin, or Old Barn RED!!! That kitchen could totally support such a strong color, and the exposed wall surface to paint isn’t enormous.
I’m biased. I just moved out of my small cozy ranch with a FANTASTIC RED kitchen with white cabinets….into a Ginormous house, old country style, with cherry woods and a butter yellow kitchen.

Something bold since the kitchen is very white. I did red in mine and loved it. I also vote for peacock blue if the red is too much or sunflower yellow if you want to go really bold.

@SaraP2012: my kitchen is currently a weird purple-gray-taupe. I’m thinking of either a robin’s egg blue with some grey, or a sagey green.
