white phalaenopsis orchids (with a touch of bright pink in the center). I chose this because #1 it's my favorite flower and #2, i have no idea what my color scheme is (i'm under the impression that the theme/color scheme will work itself out as I start making more decisions) and #3, I'm an old fashioned girl that wants a white bouquet, but still wants a little touch of something "different" and "modern" What color are you thinking of doing? What are your favorite flowers?
Mine will be all green - because my colours are green and brown and I didn't like the look of brown in a bouquet.
Mine will be cream and green with some touches of pink.
Our colours are champagne, apple green and chocolate brown.
Mine is all red roses. I like to think I'm a classy girl and the scent of roses is a huge turn on for me...so I had to have it. =)
None of the above - mine is primarily orange - tiger lilies, orange cala lilies, some white calas in my bouquet only, dahlias, and orange roses.
This is what I am doing, mostly white with a hint of color depending on how pink the orchid center is when the florist gets them.
I can't decide between all ivory/white peonies, and something with all kinds of color!
I chose pink peonies because pink was one of our wedding colors and I wanted my bouquet to stand out in front of my dress.
@catholicbride: That is SO gorgeous! I love peonies, very clean & classic.
I went w/ all white & ivory flowers. The color will come from the stems being wrapped in tiffany & chocolate.
My wedding colours are orange, yellow, blue and green. My bouquet will be mostly orange, yellow and white. :)
My bridesmaids wore black and our accent colors were lavender, light green and ivory, which were the 3 colors in my bouquet. I'm having technical difficulties and can't post a photo...
I didnt' vote b/c there is no 'other' option. My bouquet was light pink tea roses which was not a wedding color, I just did my own thing since I'm the bride! My ladies carried dark pink bouquets and our other colors were navy and silver so light pink went just fine.
I'm doing ivory/cream since my dress is dark green and I didn't want the bouquet to be too overwhelming.
I did mostly ivory and white whith a bit of my colour :)
I orginally wanted just an ivory boquet (as my dress is ivory..no white as it would make my dress look yellow etc) but i didnt want it to blend into much with my dress so i added some colour to break it up. STILL in some pics it blends a little when against my dress and you cant see what the ivory flowers actually are...
I still LOVE it though!!!
Mine was light pink! Which actually had nothing to do with anything lol My hubby didn't want a pink wedding, sooo I got my pink bouquet :)
Mine was white/ivory with green and a touch of yellow....I chose my bouquet because it matched my wedding colors but also because I thought it looked very natural and a little rustic...I loved it!

Our colours were brown and blue, so this was my bouquet. There was a sheer brown ribbon wrapped around the stem.
Mine are clay flowers with dried French lavendar for filler. They're obviously mutlicolor because that's what I wanted.

Mine is mainly wedding colors, with really large white lilies scattered. I wanted it to be bright, but different from my maids. I never was a fan of lots of white with a tiny bit of color. It turned out FANTASTIC! I will post a pic when I get home.
My was all red Ecuadorian roses. I really didnt want a white bouquet, and our wedding colours were dark dark red and baby blue, my girls and flower girl had matching ones but smaller. I loved my bouquet!
I chose sunflowers, with some smaller yellow and pink flowers for variety. I actually decided on the flowers before the general colors of the wedding and ended up shaping the theme around sunflowers. I loved the symbolism of them (they symbolize faith and constancy, because they always follow the sun) and I have a personal fondness for them because my now-husband sent me a virtual sunflower to cheer me up one day before we even started dating (my best friend insisted that he liked me and I swore that he didn't -- turns out he did ;-D)

I picked "colors of the wedding" but honestly, it probably will just be colors I really like which are maybe similar to the wedding colors?
I am heavily leaning toward dark purple.
My BMs are in dark red, GMs in black with royal blue bow ties, my groom is in USMC dress blues, and my shoes are blue and gold.
Originally I thought about a bouquet that looked kind of like a target, mostly white with a red ring around it and some blue at random (very small), but now I'm thinking... who really knows about "wedding colors" and notices this stuff? I may do purple! I LOVE purple.
@catholicbride: Oh God, that is my inspiration bouquet. I gave it to my florist and told her I wanted one exactly like that. I don't know if I will get it though being as my wedding is the 3rd of July :(

Trying to pick my bouquet color. Can you also tell me why you picked that color?
