I’m only having a Maid/Matron of Honor, no BMs. We have not decided on a dress yet, but found 2 styles we really liked at Alfred Angelo, which are pictured below.
My stepmom thinks my Maid/Matron of Honor shouldn’t wear green because she’ll “blend in with the grass,” but both of us really like green. Although, my Maid/Matron of Honor said she thinks she looks good in most colors, and is fine with wearing any color.
It’s for a backyard wedding at sunset in May. Here’s my color palette inspiration:
This is closest I can get to my palette in Alfred Angelo colors:
Here is my Maid/Matron of Honor in a couple Alfred Angelo styles:
Style: 7138 (in fuschia, I think) This style comes in all the colors.
This style only comes in these colors:
*the color she’s wearing is actually more pink, my camera phone did not capture the colors properly. The fern is similar to clover.
Thanks in advance!

The clover color doesnt really look like grass so I wouldnt worry about her blending in with the grass.. but I like the other colors too so I think they all would look nice

Well the coral is the closest to your inspiration colors – and I really like it for a May wedding. But I don’t think the green would pose an issue either. I wonder what it would look like in the blue color? I’d just go with whatever color she looks best in. 🙂

Why not let her pick? If you really don’t mind, and she looks good in the options, why not let her choose which dress/colour she like best [within your colour/inspiration scheme] & that way she’ll be happiest with it & more likely to re-wear it?

@missmouse29: I told her I wanted her to have something she could wear again, and she said she wears dresses all the time, and anything would be fine.
I also told her she could pick whatever color or style of dress she wanted, and she said I was making it more difficult! haha. 🙂
She doesn’t know which color, either. We’re both pretty indecisive. (she’s my younger sister)
