I prefer gold, but that means your jewelry should be gold, too! Or at least mostly gold.....so take that into consideration! Maybe you can find pretty combo shoes!
I dont think black would compliment the eggplant dress well enough!
I agree with Ejs, that your jewellery should be gold. Those colors would all look so great together. Black I think just doesnt cut it
Definitely gold otherwise I think the black will make the eggplant a bit darker and plus gold is fun!! :)

I voted gold! But I think black would be more versatile, and I do think it would go well enough, just not have quite the pizzaz as gold :)
i am going out of the box and voting silver or grey. i love that combo and if you haven't bought them yet... if you have them already... gold
I think gold would make a great complement to eggplant. Black and eggplant reminds me of black and navy blue. Two dark colors that don't mesh well.

I have an eggplant colored dress to wear for my daughters fall wedding. I am wondering if anyone knows what colored shoes I should wear? Black, gold? I really could use some help here.
