You can do a matte silver, gold tone or a nude colored shoe. The color is lovely by the way. I would stay away from black, unless it's a strappy shoe with some type of crystal.
I think black would be fine with that dress; maybe keep it strappy so that it doesn't compete with the dress. Or, what about a metallic? Gold or silver?
I was thinking a light creamish pink. Like this color:

I would do copper or bronze, it's warm like cream and will be a nice contrast color. Have you ever seen plum and copper together? Divine!
I had to wear a very similar colored dress, and we chose silver. The other option was to get shoes dyed at a place that will custom match the color. That option was expensive, though.
What are your colours?
Agree with the girls, silver, gold, nude or pewter (Maybe even a compliemtary shade of purple) but if you wanted a colour pop maybe bright pink or green?
I agree with precieuxny...if you don't color match with the dress, then go with silver, gold, or nude
B Tamara......colors are that dark plum and cream, so silver or gold are the best colors?
I second all of preciuexny's color choices! Also, you could do a bronze depending on your wedding colors.

This is the color of my bridesmaid dress's but this isn't the actual dress just the color. I need help picking a shoe color, someone told me black but the plum is so dark i don't want them to blend and my other color is cream so someone told me to have them wear cream shoes? HELP!!
