What time of year are you getting married and what kind of vibe do you want the wedding to have? That has a big impact. Almost any color could go outdoors.
Whites and creams would be gorgeous and more elegant or you could go really fun with bright pinks, yellows, green. You could have a more picnic color scheme if it's casual - red & white checkered table cloths with buckets of daisies.
Some more detail on your larger vision or style would be helpful. :)
Blues! I personally love the blue/green combo, it goes well with the outdoors - the blue sky (or water if there is some around) and the greens of the earth. You can go in all shades too, and it looks like you are picking from the pallete of the earth! Can you tell what colors I am using for my own wedding? :-)
My reception is in a country club- green golf course outside and green chairs, green carpet, and green accents in the curtains inside. We had initially planned on lavendar, cream, and chocolate, but now, rather than trying to overpower the green, we're just going to work with it. Our new colors are sage and chocolate, with lavendar accents.
There was also a lovely white and wood combo in either Martha Stewart Weddings or the Knot magazine recently... I just can't remember which!
We did blue and green for the sky and grass. I think any color combo is perfect.
we're doing pink flowers and blue dresses with our very green outdoorsy wedding!
wow everything sounds so pretty! we are leaning towards a vintage theme. using lots of brown and jars with candles. but i want a very simple charm to go along with it. nothing fancy because we are pretty simple. i love the idea maureen about green for the grass blue for the sky...and maybe even some yellow for the sun. sounds beautiful. i love pink! but i dont want a pink and brown wedding. maybe some browns and tans and whites and some pastels!
We're getting married outside and we're doing a blue/green combo. The Bridal Party is wearing black and blue and the flowers are purples and greens.....Hope this helps!
yea it does help! i no think im going to stick with a green and peach and cranberry combo with browns. im very excited about it! i found an antique store i absolutely adore and it has a beautiful green couch that would fit perfect!
