With this bridesmaid dress?
It’s the clover green from Davids Bridal. I think it probably looks best with the dyed shoes in the same color…but I don’t want my girls to have shoes that they will only wear once with one specific dress.
But I don’t think black or white would really work. I think they would stick out too much. My dress is white, so ivory shoes wouldn’t really work.
I am kind of a shoe idiot, so I would love suggestions!!

I think gold would work really well! You could probably do silver, as well.

I agree with gold or silver!

depends on the season…silver for winter, wine or navy blue for fall, gold or even hunter green for spring or summer…

oooh for a real pop, you could even do yellow!
whats up, kzoo. 🙂

What are the groomsmen wearing? If they are wearing black tuxes/suits with green vests, ties, etc. I think it would be fine for the bridesmaids to wear black shoes. When I told my bridesmaids that they could wear black shoes they were really happy!

I like the thought of navy blue, but it might be too dark for a spring/summer wedding. Maybe brown or deep purple? Or, if it worked with your colors, I would go for a daffodil yellow!

I think the bridesmaids would get the most wear from a gold or silver.

My girls are wearing green dresses with brown shoes. I agree that yellow would look fantabulous as well!

A metallic sandal would be lovely.

i would go with gold or a nude/brown sandal for a summer wedding.

Yeah, I probably should have mentioned it’s a summer wedding at the end of June.
The guys will be wearing black tuxes with a blue vest and tie. I haven’t decided on the exact shade of blue…but it will probably be one of these colors.
I know I probably shouldn’t discount black because it goes with everything, it just didn’t seem summery enough for the green!

i seriously think blue shoes would be so so cute.
i’m wearing these in red with my dress and they are surprisingly super comfortable.

I vote metallic! My girls are also wearing a clover dress (Bill Levkoff, not DB, but it’s a similar color), and I think they’re going with silver shoes. I agree that gold would look really nice, maybe even better than silver, but since my dress has silver accents I preferred them in silver also if they were going to go with a metallic shoe. I’m not opposed to them wearing a nude/tan shoe, but since I’m not requiring them to wear the same shoe, I think it will be easier to coordinate whatever silver shoes they each pick out.

gold, silver, champagne, or even if you want something a little different you could pick a different color that might compliment the clover. Maybe whatever colors you are thinking for your bouquets…like maybe clover and yellow or clover and blue (more modern option)
